Linda, I make up a lot of my own recipes, though, I am still a fan of my bookcase full of cookbooks. I find recipes in magazines at work and also from booklets at the grocery store. I rarely use the Internet to find a recipe.

I use a Canon Powershot S3 IS. It is 6.0 mega pixels. The IS stands for Image Stabilizer. I did a lot of research before buying it 3 years ago. I like to be able to take pictures on the go. I don't have the patience for dragging around lenses you have to change out or for carrying a tripod. By the time you change the lense the photo opportunity is usually gone. I do use a tripod for group photos. I have only done that a couple times. This camera is perfect for me. Digital cameras are like computers they become outdated quickly. They have a 12 mega pixels version of this camera now.

Linda, maybe I will see you at church this morning. Today is the big day....we are in the new building. If I don't see you today, we will see you at Fiesta's on Friday night before the Good Friday service.

Thank you for all the very nice pictures you take. I used one this week on the front of a Thank You note for the Drama Teacher of a local Christian High School. She invited us to a benefit performance of Fiddler On The Roof. Here is a picture of the front of the card.

This teacher has the ability to really pull the best from each of the kids. She is a real blessing!!

Try uploading Mozilla or got to Google Earth to find current Java Script. I had the same problem with Java Script with our old computer. I loaded Mozilla and didn't have any more problems. My Dad helped me with it. So, Dad if you have any other advice please add it to my Blog.

Yes, It is very COLD out side, I think I have been in denial about winter... I have to say I am looooosing.....  :( I am cooooold all the time. My mother said she just turned her heater on this weekend.. ha mine has been on for at least a month and a half.... :) I do not want to go get a coat or GOOD boots... For the first year I am not ready or excited about this winter.... HmMM Of course I do get a little giddy inside when I think about Christmas lights and cocoa....I am not really liking the frost in the morning and sweating in the afternoon...hahah...Its Colorado...WE are trying to find a time to come up and visit, only time seems to be running away and no sight of slowing down....  December is the only opening thus far. ..Miss you both very much, Krissy

I am amazed every time I am on your site. Your photos are breathtaking. Although I don't know when you find time to put everything in.. The Times With Jennifer Alvey!  I love the site and OF course all the pictures. They are Perfect as usual... Although I know you and how you take pictures... SO if you have a few hundred showable ones, how many did'nt make the cut?
