The friendship began with a young man working in a lumberyard who gained an instant interest in the pretty brown haired girl who walked in and began working there in 2000. Everyday he would make a point to visit her office just to say hello, often several visits a day. Over the next several months, the two began a friendship, which only grew stronger with each day. Only when the young man moved three hours away, did that friendship blossom into something more. In September of 2001, they became a couple on Old Brockway golf course. The young man professed his love for the young women and they became inseparable. At Diablo Hills GC on a sunny afternoon in April 2002 while golfing with two of the young man's friends, he expressed his love and proposed to the young woman who walked into that lumberyard and forever into his life two years before.
