CRCT is finally over. Your children worked hard during the 5 days that the test was given. I am very proud of them.Hopefully, the test results will be available before we leave for summer vacation. Even though summer is just around the corner, we will still be learning new skills and reviewing previously taught skills. It is very important that your children master their multiplication facts before entering 4th grade. The 4th grade teachers assume that your child already knows their facts when they enter their classroom on the first day of school. If everyone masters their facts before school is out, we will have an ice cream sundae party. So far only one student has mastered all 12 basic facts.

Language Arts: We have completed our reading text for the year. We will be reading short stories for the remainder of the year and reviewing previously taught grammar skills. Please review agenda daily for homework assignments.

Math: Please review multiplication facts (7’s-12), Skills taught this week: geometry, multiplication facts, review: measurement, and review of previously taught skills. The class will be having an ice cream sundae party when all facts have been mastered (0-12), We are charting our progress in class. Please review agenda for math HW assignments. Math 4 Today #37 due Wed. 5/13

Wednesday: Every Wed. we will be reading short stories to Mrs. Teddy’s special needs preschool class.
