School's out for Summer but that doesn't mean that the learning has to stop. What types of things do you like to do during the summer? Sit by the pool? Explore the cool sites in Atlanta? Or relax by the beach with a tall glass of lemonade? Either way, reading can play a huge role in how much you enjoy your summer vacation. So no matter the place, add a book to the mix and enjoy a fictional adventure. Then be sure to come and tell me all about it this Fall.
Have fun!
If your book or magazine is still lost, try these tips:
1. Look in the last place you recall reading your book. Could it be in your room? In mom or dad's car? or maybe in your former classroom library.
2. Check with the local library to see if your school library book was returned to them by accident.
3. Ask a friend to help you search all the neat places you like to read. Could it be that you loaned it to a friend and forgot? Check their house too!
If you cannot locate your items, stop by the media center this fall. Mom or dad can pay for your lost book until you are able to locate the item. When you do, simply come back to the media center with your receipt. We would rather have the book title than the money to replace the missing item. So become your own Inspector Gadget and start the search for your missing book or magazine.
