Yep, mine are more forward than fork angle now. I will be changing that. Of course, back in the day we ran everything 90 degrees....but we also only had 18.5 inch top tubes.....

By the way, I went to Sandy Ridge last night and I didn't crash! I raced two 15 year olds and there just wasn't anything I could do with them....
Someone was nice enough to point out that my bars are too far forward......so, I think that is part of why I have been a little squirrelly on the bike lately. Pelham was my first race since getting my bike worked on, and they must have moved my bars when they tuned up my bike. I am still looking at the S&M Race XLT bars anyway......

I just watched the video of Daan's big win at PTC, and I just love it! We have seen him go from not wanting to ride the track, to not wanting to ride with anyone else on the track, to not wanting to use the gate, but riding non-stop for 25 laps, to using the gate, to schooling those other boys on how to race and getting first at a state qualifier! AWESOME! That is what this sport is all about, right there!

My first cusin is dieing of terminal cancer. Her name is Margret Oney she lives in Ohio. She is like the leader in our family, keeps everyone together. Please put her in your prayers. On serious note. The hill at the bottom of the gate is for cosmedic reasons. It keeps the bottom of the starting gate from washing away. We will be seeing alot of this in the newer track design. We need to get a custom to it.The sooner the better.

He must not need it rolled yet because I offered to bring the 4 wheeler out and got no response from him. As far as the Regional race in Pelham goes, friday is a pre race at 6pm for $10. saturdays race starts at 11am for $40 and sundays race starts at 7 or 8 am [cant remember] and its $40. We could definately run a team if we can get enough riders !! friday night is quadruple point race and saturday and sunday are triple point races. Oh, and by the way, if you make the main, you get a huge trophy !!!

First of all, thanks to all the team for making the long drive to Augusta. We all did a great job and had lots of fun !!! So that everyone knows, the team placed tied for 6th out of 8 teams. Not to bad for our first team race um........EVER !!! Yep, Id have to agree with Toolman, the Moristown track build was the best track Ive ever rode. It was fast, tight, non lippy on the jumps, and short! I wish I could pick it up and bring it to columbus ! And to think it will be completely torn down tomorow !!
Tim looked the best he has ever looked on the track. i think the new bike, mindset and gear changes we did on his bike helped alot, not to mention all that weight he has lost [ although, I think he found some of that weight at El Zapatio mexican restraunt on saturday night when he finished off not 1, or 2 or 3 but a whopping 4 fajitas !!!! We had great fun and wished everyone was there. Congrats to all that went to Albany and mopped up the competition !!

We are back from Spring Nationals. Brannon looked good out there, and picked up some more NBL bucks!
The racing was fast and furious all weekend! There were lots of crashes, tons of excitement, and strong competition. I didn't make the main either day, although I had my best race period! on Saturday. I just couldn't get past those 16 year olds!
The track was awesome! In the main for my class, everyone was very fast!
All in all, a great weekend, and great hanging out with Brannon, getting to know each other better. (But not as good as him and J Mack.)
Wish more of you guys had made the trip!

Nic, The State Clerk is in the process of correcting your information now. For whatever reason, the information was never relayed to NBL. It WILL be taken care of though. I have been in contact with Stacy and she is awaiting the paperwork. They will

no one had my problem 3 motos or 36 to 40 over cruiser
both days i have over 13 riders so i had to race a SEMI and the way that works is
3 motos (14) have 6 or less only 4 transfer to the semi so that a total of 12 rider 2 gates worth. then only 4 from each gate tranfers to the Main. The Main will have a full gate of 8 riders
so i didnt make it

someone needs to make a call to NBL. They have Taylor in 12 year old rookie instead of 11 year old rookie standings. They have Allen in 9 year old rookie instead of 8 year old rookie standings. They are not even showing Nic for some reason in the standings even though he raced 2 nationals.

i agree that you should be comfortable on the bike before going to clipless but once you do, you will see a huge diference in your ability. They really help alot in controling your bike.

I just want to congratulate all the riders from Columbus who went to the Southern Charm Nationals. Everyone did EXTREMELY well! This was a national level race, and so just being able to compete with these guys means we are well on our way to developing some future national champions! If I start naming riders, I may forget someone! But I am very proud of Jack, Devon, Nick, Allan, and Taylor. (I hope I didn't miss anyone!) These guys did great! Taylor dominated! Nick, Devon, Jack and Allan were competitive, and placed! Awesome job, guys!
Oh, and the old big guys did a great job, too!
Many, many thanks to Aaron, Brannon, Chris, Jimmy, and Sandy! These are awesome guys to spend a weekend with!

Frankie, we weren't suposed to race this saturday, but according to the website, we are. I guess Aaron decided to race this coming saturday since the last race was rained out. Also, everyone needs practice for the National race the following weekend. As far as the jerseys, we are starting a team and having jerseys made. we will be racing the state series and some of us are racing the regional and national series. Anyone that wants to can join the team, we just need to know before wqe order the jerseys. There will be some kind of cost for the jerseys but we are not sure how much yet because we don't know how much each sponsor is going to be able to help financially.

I know Savannah Twedwell races @ Sandy Ridge, i just hope she does the national. With her and my sister thatd be two girls and all we'd need is one more girl to make a class. Desiree, we hope to have two from our track.I saw a full gate at the state race last year. You will like Sandy Ridge,it is a super track. We also have a track in Peachtree City, close by the nationals, you should check it out. It rocks!! RiverCity is about 90 miles south of both those tracks. We will all be at Sandy rRdge in our SE gear that weekend for sure.

I wanted everyone to know Don Teel, from Albany, won the car. He bought one ticket. I called him Sat night. He was so excited! His wife was on the other phone and screamed in the receiver. Don said he has never won anything.!! I was so happy for them, and the car went to a good home. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets.
