The school year went by in a flash and with that brings the sucess of Tyler heading to the first grade. The kindergarten classes celebrated this event Hawiian style with a luau. We are so proud of Tyler! The end of the school year also brings Alyssa heading off to the fourth grade and Trinity heading off to pre-school.

Congratulations Tyler! The Luau looked like tons of fun! The shots of Arcata are beautiful and the kids looked like they enjoyed themselves exploring. Hi Ann, I love the foggy pics on GGC they are incredible. Thats funny my Owl spooked you - I have a few neighbors walk by and do double takes - his head wobbles in the wind. The guy at the store said these are very popular - to keep birds from pooping all over everything and by golly it has worked!! I have to move him every few days or the birds will catch on its not real! Isn't that crazy?? Have a great weekend. Seems summers are so busy.

I had planned to be telling you about the surprise trip I was booking for Rene and I to San Diego, but this past weekend I broke my leg playing softball. Mega ouch! I am having surgery on Thursday and am trying to remain optimistic that we can still get in some fun activities over the summer. I am currently planning cute designs for the cast! hehehehehe
One bummer is that I had to cancel several photo sessions booked for the next few weeks.....I have one still pending that we may attempt depending on my ability to learn how to get around with crutches and one leg! hehehehe

Hi Ann. Popping in with a quick question. We mothers have to stick together on this. We are kind of in the same boat. Our children are the same ages. Regan has been potty trained since she was about 17 months old. She still wears a diaper at nite. K'Lee never did. She just got up in the middle of the night. So do you have this problem or have any suggestions at this time of how to get this to happen with ease?!?

I don't think that I ever been here before. I enjoy checking out sites and seeing what other like to take photos of. From time to time I get inspired to start taking photos of certain things. Hi there Ann!! Good to hear from you. Idol was pretty exciting. I just don't know who will win. I was a bit surprised Shawn won Dancing - not sure if you watch that. She is good, was just surprised. Don't worry about not being able to visit sharesites - it is tough keeping up. Plus with school coming to an end, Alyssa's program, and a two year old who is into everything. My niece Madeline is the same way. Plus summers get so busy. I really need a laptop - i can't believe sweet Trinity smashed yours. Why is it kids like to pound on the keys! By the way, you should brag about Alyssa's performance. Very emotional i'm sure - can't wait to see more pics.

Ann...thanks for the kinds words re: Stephanie & Mike's wedding. You mentioned how each page was constructed so perfectly. I feel like Ann Aspnes takes the credit for that. It's as if she designed those pages especially for me! S & M's book comes closest to what I've been trying to do for the past several years...making a book that 'marries' wedding album & scrapbook. I think this is the direction I will take from now on. Also, re: timeline...that was an idea one of the brides suggested and I have featured it in every book I've designed ever since. BTW...I work at Disneyland, when I'm not shooting weddings, as one of their Photo Pass Photographers.

OMG...that slide looks awesome, we used to have something here similiar but they actaully game you these "sleds" to ride down on. Unfortantly due to the insurance cost they shut it down. Ann, don't be embarassed by your ME book. It is very creative and artsy. Who would think one would get so many awesome picture by taking them alone? It would be a great gift for hubby. Maybe put one words at the bottom of how he makes you feel. Like secure, loved, happy, joyful etc. It would be a hit. Glad you enjoyed the music. I actually say it on a couple other sites (Joanne & Connie) and thought...hmmm thats pretty cool. I even go to my page while I at work just to listen to the music. When mine is done i head on over to Connies page and listen to hers...LOL! Anyways if you go to Playlist.com you can create your own music player. You just need to add it into a widget when you are done. If you need more just let me know.

Oh my gosh, I just saw your comment on my site and FB. You are too funny. This is something I have done, except I always get the double chins when i hold the camera out - I do better at self-timers then you can set it to take so many at a time. But I have never gotten ones like u did. I may have to try sometime. Did you whip you head around fast to get your hair in front of eyes? So creative. You should do a book - The many faces of ME! And yes, it is FREEZING here. I left my oven on after lunch just to warm my place up a little more. I can't even believe I went out today. Too cold! It's been a long winter. Tomorrow is supposed to be 19 above, it was 19 below when I got up this morning. Insane! I'm sure 40 is a shock to you guys too. When does it start to be in the 70's? Oh well, this cold weather does suck but i guess it could be worse! Keep snapping photos!!

Just saw you comment on my sharesite. Your kids are TOO cute!! I love the headers. They are going to LOVE Disneyland! Your going to have such a great time as they are at such a FUN age. The website you can click here about the photopass. I'm very familiar with Disney World but know basically nothing about Disneyland. The photo CD looks like $79.95 for Disneyland which is great because Disney World is $125.00 unless you do the prepay and then it's still $100.00. ttp://www.mousesavers.com/otherdl.html#photopass
You get all your photo's plus any borders you add.(you add the borders after you get back once you load your photopass number onto the Disney Photopass website) I have 1637 photos on 4 CDs from our Adult Only trip. I'm crazy I put multiply borders on every picture because I never know which one I will want to use in the book and once you order the CD you can't go back and add them later.
I can't wait to see the pictures and your book from your trip in April. I had to get our adult trip book finished so I could start another one when we return in March. If you have any more questions just let me know.
P.S. You commented on my Toy Story Mania Digi page. Believe it or not the background and the patch on the left side page is from the back of one of the cast members. I asked her to turn around so I could take a picture of your uniform. I used PSE to cut it out and then the eyedropper to color match the stripes to mirror the stripes on their shirts.

Got you message how fun to sit in PJs all day for Christmas. We did about the same thing. If felt good to be totally lazy and relaxed for the day. I know what you mean about getting the itch for Disney. We have 260 days to go...ugh! If you need help with any planning let me know. I loaded the photos from our Portrait Session at the Grand Floridian and also from EPCOT. You'll notice duplicate photos but with different backgrounds. Your Christmas day sounds fun - I love the "stay in your pj's and play wii all day" - how cool is that? Jarrett bought a Xbox with his Christmas cash this year and so we've been playing lots of Nascar racing and Mario. Me again. I had to laugh when I saw your comment on Kelli's site about your weather. I realize 40 is freezing for you guys but its 19 here and freezing. We are expecting a blizzard tomorrow/tonight and expecting 7-8 inches of snow. Your 'cold' weather doesn't last that long does it? Ours lasts until April sometimes. It is pretty for the first month but gets old FAST!! See you around and stay warm and cozy!

Thank you for your comments on my Disney World photos. I've never been to Disneyland as we live in Alabama and Florida is much closer than California. About the photopass like you I'm not in many pictures although I take 1000s so photopass is great for me. The first trip I didn't do it but have every trip since. I pre-purchase it for 99.95 vs the 125.99 in the park. You get a photopass card you use your entire stay and then we you get home you load the code into the webiste and you have 30 days to review, modify, add borders and character signatures. Once you have modified all you want you place your order and put in your prepurchase code and that's it. You have 30 days from when you upload them to either purchase or they disappear. I got your message about my Disney photo's. I have loaded them on my Disney World tab on my sharesite. I'm still loading the animal kingdom photo's but all our in seperate folders on the left hand side under Adult Disney November 2008. I'm also still working on my Disney Photopass photo's adding all the borders, etc. So it will be a few weeks before I can order and load them up as well. I will start working on the book shortly. I'm trying to learn digital scrapping so I have some pages I'm working on already. It was a great trip and we are going back in 284 days but who's counting (Sep 09). We actually took the plunge and joined the Disney Vacation Club so in 2010 we are going to stay at our home resort at Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary. If you have any questions just let me know. I'm the over planner as my husband says. I have an excel spreadsheet I use to keep track of all our dining and event reservations. I'm always ready 180 days out to make all our reservations. If you don't you won't be able to eat a sit down meal depending on the time of year. When was it again that you are going? I'll be happy to sharing it with you if you like to see if it could work for you too. I know your excited. We've only been back a week and I'm ready to head south again. Gosh I am glad that we are not the only ones who love apples! Apple juice was the first food Pasha would eat for us (he was living on sweet tea and sugar water in the orphanage so we had to introduce formula gently). Can't get enough apples. YOU got some truly awesome shots. I was just trying to keep Pasha from breaking things in the store, and you grabbed some wonderful photographs. I love the shot of the baskets. As always you are so inspirational! Homeworks shots are too cute : ) I just love the one with his leg hiked on the table...adorable.
