Katie is officially a teenager
My eldest niece turned 13 on Sunday. Wow - I am getting old!! LOL
Riley Turned 2!!!
My little baby girl has turned two! How fast the time has past. She had a wonderful birthday. Daddy took her to the park all day, followed by a trip to Baskin Robbins, after her nap she awoke to find the birthday fairy had come with presents from Mommy and Daddy! She loves her new tent, Little People grocery store, Little People book, and crazy character! She finished the day with her favorite meal: Chicken McNuggets and Fries! See Riley's page for all the fun pictures.
Vacation in Palm Springs
Just got back from our week long vacation in Palm Springs. The weather was amazing! Todd and I did a side trip to Old Town in San Diego as well one morning. Riley loved the pool and again showed that she has no fear. She even loved being dunked by Daddy!
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
Winter's Finally Over
It looks like winter is finally over! Lots of new pictures to the site. Kim and John came into town for March Madness and brought Riley a Mrs. Potato Head - she loves it!!
What's Up!
Happy Valentine's Day! Things have been busy at the Johnson house this winter. Riley is in a gymnastics class on Saturdays so that keeps us busy on the weekends. Today started off with Riley's first haircut. See Riley's page for all the excitement. We have also added a new member to the household...Elmo Live. Uncle Bill bought it for Riley for Christmas and everyone is amazed at this toy. See the video below to see Riley's new friend:

Bounce House
We went to the Bounce House today for Donavan Weatherly's birthday party. Riley had a blast!! Check out her page for fun pics!
Grandma's Farwell
We had to say goodbye to Grandma, who past on New Year's Eve. It was hard to see her sick and we know that she is in a better place, probably making sauce and cookies for Grandpa. We had her good-bye luncheon on January 6th. I have added some pictures of family (minus Jim who was flying to exciting Idaho for work - we just can't seem to get everyone in the same spot!) to the photo section.
Christmas Is Here
Christmas seemed to come and go so quickly. We were very excited since this would be the first Christmas Riley would be able to really participate. Not to mention MICHAEL WAS COMING HOME!! YEAH!! I hadn't seen him in a year and I was on the edge of my seat waiting for his arrival. All in all it was a wonderful Christmas and the first one we have spent without having to travel back and forth from WI in what seemed like forever!!!
Breakfast with Santa
This past weekend we went with Mom, Dad, Katie and Emily to the breakfast with Santa at the Italian Cultural center. We learned several things: #1 - Riley LOVES bacon and #2 - Riley DOES NOT love Santa. She clung to me for all she was worth. In the end, we decided to not force the issue and I held her vs. putting her on his lap...maybe next year
Trick or Treat
We went trick or treating at Nana's for Halloween. Riley had a good time and walked about 2 whole blocks. The weather was perfect (mid 60's)! Everyone had fun and gots lots of candy. Riley of course looked adorable in her purple monster costume! See her webpage for pictures.
Weekend in Milwaukee
Todd and I spent the weekend in Milwaukee with Kim and John. It was a great time! The weather was perfect and we got to see their new awesome apartment.
Cider Mill Sunday
Today was our annual trip to the Cider Mill with the whole family. We haven't been for the past three years, so it was nice to be back in the swing of things again. Everyone except Uncle Michael was there and we missed him very much!
Family Picnic
We had the the Carabelli family picnic today. Riley had the best time. Between the baby pool, kiddie pool, the swings and the slides, it was an exhausting day. See her webpage for the fun and exciting pictures...
New Job!
Well, I got a new job! It's my second week. I am working for a contract company down at OnStar downtown. It's been great. The best part are the hours. I now get home just a little after 4:00.
Katie's Graduation
Our niece Katie graduated from 6th grade this month...she was honored with the President's Award along with the Principal's Award
The Wings Win!
The Wings finally won the cup...on Todd's Birthday!! Congratulations!!!
Kim and John's Wedding
We just got back this afternoon from Kim and John's wedding in Milwaukee. I will have to say it was one of the most fun wedding weekends I have ever been a part of. Everything was perfect including the weather. We couldn't be more happier for them. See the pictures below...
Ears Pierced
Riley got her ears pierced this morning for her 1st birthday. She did really well and they look great! My mom and niece, Emily went with us to the mall to get them done. See her page for pictures!!
Riley's 1st Birthday
Yesterday, our baby girl turned 1 years old. Not that turning one isn't momentous enough, but she also decided she was going to walk too! It was all very very exciting.
We are enjoying our new home. It's been one week since we moved in and it is finally starting to feel real. We are finally home! I hope to add some new pictures of the new place in the next week or so!
