Welcome to 13 Center Avenue at the Chautauqua Institution!

You have discovered the new 13 Center, one of the newest homes on the grounds (finished building June 2011)!  Looking for a clean, neat, centralized location close to everything Chautauqua has to offer, with all the modern amenities (yet still in a beautiful Victorian looking home) for your next vacation?  This is the place!

Rental Information

Location:   Steps away from Bestor Plaza – the Center and heart of the Chautauqua Institution; a short flat walk to the Amphitheater and Hall of Philosophy, between Wythe and Pratt Avenues.  Near Bus and Tram Routes.

 

The Basement Apartment: 2 Bedroom/2 Bath.  Definitely unlike your typical Chautauqua rentals!  High ceilings.  Living / Dining room with gas-log fireplace, sofa, 4 chairs, dining table that seats 4, ceiling fan, egress window.  Flat screen TV & cable, Wi-Fi. New (June 2011) kitchen with full-size refrigerator, electric range/oven, garbage disposal, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, and toaster oven. Washer & dryer.  New hardwood floors with radiant floor heating.  Air Conditioning. Private, Separate Entrance. 

2 Bedrooms: Each bedroom has 2 twin beds, 1 closet, and 1 dresser.  1 bath with sink, shower, and toilet for each bedroom as well.  Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan and an egress window. Apartment sleeps 4. For more privacy, each bedroom and bathroom is on a different side of the living/dining room/kitchen area.

Cleaning: The house is carefully cleaned prior to each guests’ arrival.  Depending on length of stay, apartment can be arranged to be cleaned weekly.

Supplies: The house is fully equipped with linens, bath towels, dishes, flatware, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. You don’t need to bring anything; just unpack and enjoy your Chautauqua vacation.

Parking: During the 9 week summer season, guests must purchase parking in the institution's main parking lot, as parking is not available on site. 

No pets.  No smoking.
