Thank you for braving the weather and joining us in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday, March 26th for the 2nd annual Tuscaloosa Walk MS event at Annette Shelby Park.

Without a doubt, this year's Tuscaloosa Walk was the best one yet!!!
While we are still receiving donations here at our office and entering data from the event into our online system, we can say that as of April 1st, we have surpassed our goal of raising $17,000. We are nearing $18,000 in total donations including fundraising, paper shoe sales, and corporate sponsorship. The funds raised will to be used in our Chapter's efforts to create a world free of MS.
Please remember that fundraising continues for 6 weeks after the Walk and that online prizes and individual/team fundraising awards are based on the final fundraising figures tallied on May 9, 2011. We encourage you to continue your fundraising until May - please let our staff know if we can assist you with a last-minute fundraising push.
A HUGE thanks to the approximate 200 participants who walked in support of the Alabama-Mississippi Chapter and the individuals who we serve.
Your fundraising efforts - totaling nearly $18,000 as of April 1st - are making an significant impact on the lives of the 6,300 people living with MS (and their families) in Alabama and Mississippi.
Keep an eye out for an email and/or phone message pertaining to our 2011 Walk MS wrap-up party that will take place in late May/early June. Location TBD.
