On behalf of Russell, myself and GWRRA, we would like to thank each and every one that participated in this year’s ride. We had another exceptional ride even with a few more mechanical issues then we had last year. And with that said everyone made it except for one. Her tirke needed parts from her manufacture and took longer than expected however she had a great time up to that point and after by visiting friends in Fla.
This year we had ALL but one chapter host an event but we added a luncheon this year with OK-B's cook out at Shawnee Honda in Shawnee OK. Once again, ALL the chapters went above and beyond with their efforts in together an event. From a great meal at a restaurant to a BBQ grill pulled behind a truck, to a catered meal at a convention center with VIP from the local and federal state levels. We even had a local radio station playing some music.
Once again AK gave us the rain. Not as bad as previous years, but it was rain never the less.
We would also like to thank GWRRA and ALL the sponsors, from everything that was purchased to all that was donated. We had some great sponsors and a lot of them this year. And I don’t want to forget the vendors at GWRRA.
2014 is already in the working stage. We heard a lot of comments that people wanted to run more south for a little warmer weather. We believe we have come up with a compromise. Russell came up with a route that would take us south but back up to Memphis Tn. The reason is we found a place that we think everyone would love to visit, and riding I-20 was not the most scenic and or exciting road to travel. Russell and I both road back to see what it would be like. I have to say, it was pretty boring. However, we still would like to hear from you. We know many of you have traveled I-10, I-20 and I-40. So please let us know what you think.
We apologize for not getting back to everyone sooner; however as you know your selves, after being gone for nearly 30 days things back up at home and or work.
We would also like to hear from everyone about what you think we should do for our 5th Anniversary. Let us know what you think we should do, or have, or go. We are in touch with Ca. Region to see if we can end our ride at a chapter rally. They have not set a date nor a location yet. From what I heard and understand, it's like a mini Wing Ding. This year was in or out side Las Vegas NV. So let us know what you would like to see, or happen.
Hope to see everyone at Wing Ding this year, Russell and I have already registered and will have a booth near the registration area.
Till next time.

Hello everyone..... It's day 4 and we are arriving in Conway AR on group at a time. Once again, we ran into a large down pour right at the same spot as last year. Must be something about AR, Us or the combination.
We are about 50 strong this year but we are minus one do to an accident back in NC. They are okay, other then a broken wrist and a broken trike.... !! Right now AR C & L are setting up a large pull behind BBQ pit for dinner. I will try and get pics from our members and post them tonight.
Even though we added a day to the ride, there still isnt a time for everything.
Till next time.
Two Marine Vets are looking for a third roommate for the entire trip, Wilmington to Mexico.

Here is a web link to help everyone track the ride. It will update ever 10 minutes I have it turned on. Which I will when we leave the hotel and arrive at the hotel. I will turn it off on the 17th or march once the ride is over.

Everyone will be escorted over the border and back to the hotel. So please let us know what your plans are so we can plan accourdingly
I sent you an email about my FB page. Please let me know you got my email. I am going to call you Wednesday evening at around 1800, (6pm) for you non militarty individuals...lol
We have put out that everyone should have downloaded the MapSource program from Garmin. This is a route program for the garmins that can hold multiple routes... However it can be used by yourself by seeing ALL the routes we provided along with Waypoint address, Honda shops, and more. This way you can program which ever GPS you carry or if you do have a Garmin model that wont allow you to download, you can program manually the route you want to take. Its a great program for finding ANYTHING and ANYWHERE you want to go.
But we encourage everyone to down load it and then down load our route off the website. This year we have offered many different ways and we ALL wont be taking the same routes. We havent heard of any one that wants to be a raod captain so we may have people riding own their own. Unless you want to run the super highway, or if you know of a route already, then you may need some of this information. If you have any questions, Russell will help you with any questions you may have. But dont wait till the last minnute. His email address is Pa.Keeper@yahoo.com
Till then.... some of us only have 8 days till we leave. Ride safe
Hey everyone, Just wanted to let you all know that I have deleted my Fb account because of a lot of reason. For most of you, you already know. So for some, you probably will hear about it in the near future since the comments are not being sent through emails to riders and friends.
There are more reasons then just that one. We have to many means of posting informations and has become a job keeing up with it all. So I decided to update everyone with information through the blog of the website. Plus there is always emailing me with questions, concerns complitments or complaints. Most of you have that or my number. However I will have Keith repost my email address for everyone. Russell posted my phone numbers yesterday on the FB page.
The ride is pretty much on cruise control. We do have a member that needs a roomate in Phoenix for Thursday and Friday nights. If you have a room already and want to share the cost while in Phoenix, I can put you in contact with him, just let me know.
the chapters are in need of head counts. I understand Russell has asked for everyone to email him with this information. Where you are starting and ending. This way we can make sure there are enough seating and food for everyone. So please let him know as soon as possible or we may not have enough room for everyone not to mention enough to eat.
Again, if there are any questions, concerns or complaints, please let me know. And ir your a NASCAR fan, Way to go Jimmy and Danica... !!!

Dear I40-to-Phoenix Co-Riders,
After Phoenix this year all I40-to-Phoenix riders are welcome to visit "Rally In The Valley" in Las Vegas March 15 & 16, 2013. CAIR holds one of the best rallys in the West and comes very highly recommended by our sister chapters in the California District and the Southwest Region of GWRRA. Below is our website for more information on this year's CA1R event which promises to be even better with bigger prizes and more vendors. There is still plenty of time left to register and book rooms in Las Vegas. See: http://www.gwrra-ca1r.org/rallyvalley/index.html

Eager to get this trip underway.
