Last Sunday inbetween church I noticed that one of my favorite MOCs was taking up way too much space on my display desk. And my birthday was coming up so I needed to make more room. I REALLY didn't want to take apart my Sonic boss MOC , so I downsized it! Downsizing means that you make a MOC smaller for any given reason. Downsizing is very hard to do and is only possible with MOCs made from lots of small creations. Solid MOCs (MOCs that are just one big creation instead of lots of little ones) can't be downsized . I downsized my Sonic boss MOC from an entire baseplate to a 8x16 brick. I did that by taking away about 50% of the river background , keeping the waterfall and and not as much river. I also moved the platforms closer to eachother and shortened the outward length of the stand that supports Robotnik's ship. When downsizing a MOC , you may have to get rid of some un-neccesary details . I got rid of the container that holds all the animals. Hope you like my post , GOD BLESS!
