Ever since I saw a picture of Anakin's Jedi Interceptor in 2011 , I have wanted it. A few weeks ago I was able to buy the set. I was so happy when I was opening the bags , viewing the cool minifigs , and building. But , when I went to put R2 together , there was some major misprint on his head!
I of course called Lego Direct to request a new piece , but when I got it , it was misprinted also! I wanted to send Lego Direct the second misprinted part but my parent wouldn't let me because they thought that the next on I got being misprinted and because TLG might think we are trying to get free parts. I later looked online and found some other misprinting in 2012 sets! Don't get me wrong , I love LEGO and everything about it but a major amount of misprints isn't something to ignore. I found on FBTB where someone posted about the new clone/trooper head that he bought being misprinted. His looked "sunburned".

I later found that R2's torso was misprinted! It was hard to spot but I did notice it. I compared it to the official picture of the set and my R2-D2 and found out.
Did you guys have any misprints? This is the first time this has ever happened to me , but I have had to request a new part 4 TIMES total from Lego Direct. Apple Tree House was missing a piece , My brothers T-6 Jedi Shuttle was missing a piece , then R2's misprinted head , then torso. In my opinion , these may be worth a chunk-a-change to the right person , but I don't sell my Legos and only trade when I have duplicates in the LEGO Minifigures theme.
