5000 Bricks - Minifigure Speech Bubbles
HEY!
Minifigure Speech Bubbles
I had been planning on posting this for a long time , but , The Brick Blogger beat me to it! But , she , apparently , didn't have a set of them and asked for anyone else to write about it. Since I have my own blog , but still want to give her website the detailes , I am doing a post on my website while answering questions that her blog got.
About
My best friend bought me a set of these for Christmas 2011. Minifigure word bubbles are small captions that fit between the minfigure neck and head. They connect to bricks so you can use them in a moc. The set comes with one minfigure with a caption that already has a sticker on it but the rest must be applied by hand. Though they were ment for puting on the neck , I put them on the hand or the top stud of the head because 1:I don't remove minfig heads 2:Sometimes it makes the character look strange. These captions come in a set of 24 , one of which is on the minifigure. It also comes with plenty of blank stickers that you can write on and attatch to a bubble. And a stencil so you can make sure you write on the sticker corectly. These are available at Toys R Us for an easy $10.

Questions
Here is a list of question asked about these!
Quad:
I wonder if hats and stuff fit on the Lego head with these?
Answer: Yes and no. With some it works , with others , no.I always keep a hat on my figure that has a caption , but any helment/hair piece that goes below the neck won't be able to go on.
Good for Comics
Hat
Scuba Mask
It will go most of the way on if you move the bubble a little
There were people who wanted to know the space between the head and body when the caption is on the figure , so here is a pic. It is the same size as a scuba tank , or backpack. The pic above is a scuba mask , not tank.
These can be used to make a conversations between minifigures or comics. There are different kinds of word bubbles that come in the set. Some are blue , yellow , red , or transparent. And there are different styles to make the figure yell , think , or just carry on a casual conversation!
