Athletics Conferences

The Amman Athletic Conference (AAC) was formed in 2009 with the intention of providing local private schools opportunities to play each other on a regular basis. Schools participate weekly in sporting competitions with each other in a league format.  This year's competition will begin with a friendly "season-opening" tournament.  Afterward, each school will get a chance to host various weekly games as well as an end-of-the-season tournament.

ABS (Amman Baccalaureate School)
IAA (International Academy Amman)
KA (Kings Academy)

ICS (International Community School)

BSA (Baptist School of Amman)

MAS (Modern American School)

NES (New English School)

ASG (Alia School for Girls)

BSB (Bishop School for Boys)

METS
The Middle East Triangle Sports (METS) conference consist of some of the top private schools in Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.  Schools in the METS conference only compete in a once-in-a-year tournament format.  Schools in the METS conference will have to travel by air to reach destinations outside of Jordan.   It is very important to check whether your son or daughter has an up to date calendar and relevant visas.

The Amman Ministry of Sports (AMS) conference is a government organized conference that provide private schools in Amman opportunity to compete with one another in organized tournaments throughout the year for most ages.

HAVE YOU HEARD?

The ABS Stallions is forming a team to run in the 15^th Annual Dead2Red Team Relay Run!

WHEN:  March 1^st - 2^nd (Thursday & Friday)

START:  Dead Sea, Wadi Mujib Bridge @ 3pm

FINISH:  Aqaba City

WHO:  ABS Students, Staff & Parents

# of RUNNERS:  6-10 per team

DISTANCE:  242 km    

We Need YOU!
