An endodontic team was among the more than 1,200 dental professionals who participated in the 2009 Iowa Mission of Mercy. More than 1,500 patients were treated free of charge at a value of more than $800,000. The Iowa endodontic team provided care to more than 50 patients who would otherwise have had extractions.
