Just a few hours after birth...
Our precious little baby was born October 8, 2008 at 3:47pm. She weighs 8 lbs 12 oz and measures 21 inches. That's a big (still very little) girl! We love her so much. She is just perfect. It's so strange to think that we were feeling her kick yesterday, not knowing her more than protruding, shifting lumps in mommy's tummy, and today we can see her cute little dimples! God has really blessed us.
Love,
Kelly & Rick
WOW! Kelly, What a beautiful an Awesome and radiant looking child that you have brought forth into this unsuspecting planet. Listen, I have a nephew, who knows this young lady (pretty, bloody well too, I might add), who just happens to have once dated a Big-Wig, Ad Agency Exec. In HOLLYWOOD. With a few phone calls we could have that Gorgeous Face plastered on the front of every Ivory Snow Laundry Detergent box; or, just about anything you choose. HEY! We could go in business together.
In total seriousness, YOU GUYS, congratulations to all of you: Kelly, sweetheart, for all that you endured and then finally, bringing into this world such a pulchritudinous (I've always wanted to use that word) and stunning child.
Rick, being that I am, also, a father, I am acquainted with the difficulties associated with that role and, although some may say “Bolderdash, a fathers role is a “Piece of cake”” (this type of “fairy Tale” thinking is usually voiced by the female gender). However, we know better, your life will never be the same; your next nap is scheduled for late 2012. So, Rick, Heaps of blessings I have prayed for you and will continue to do so.
Now, a special congratulations for you, Addy, for both of your parents have decided to make Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour. This means that you will be reared with the love and compassion of God. You will certainly receive many, many blessings from your Heavenly Father.
Addison, looking at your early photos, with your eyes closed and seemingly you are at peace with the world. Well, these traits are always inherited from the maternal father, so, this man must really relish his times of slumber.
Rick, Kelly and Addison, I hope you understand just how much I care for you and that you can always count on me should you ever need anything.
Finally, LOVETH I YOU (King James Version),
Anonymous
