Info: Take this great opportunity to work with other branches of the Kiwanis Family. The day will involve helping out with Garden City's High School Homecoming Day. There will be a trackless train, the ever popular money cube, karaoke, sidewalk sales, and lots of food!

November is Premature Baby Awareness Month

We are selling bracelets as fund raisers to support awareness. All members are being given 6 to sell.  Please wear them for support!!!!!

Also, look around campus for flyers with pink and blue ribbons for people to take in support of premature baby awareness!

 We have sent in the money for the first month of our sponsorship for two children from Children International!

Anjenette is a 13 year old girl who lives in the Philippines. She loves art, science, jumping rope and dancing.

Gilbert is a 15 year old boy from Ecuador. His favorite subject is math, and he loves playing soccer and drawing.

Thank you so much for your donations! So far, we have raised $94!

 Join Students Team Up to Fight Hunger in partnership with CKI to help the LI Cares Foodbank!

Bins will be placed in the UC and all residence halls for your nonperishable food donations and any other donations (toiletries, etc.)!

Our Food Drive will run from October 31st to November 18th.

Team Name: Adelphi's Circle K

NY Cares Day will take place on Saturday, October 18th from 8am to 3:30pm. We will take the LIRR into the meet-up place in the city and then take a bus to the school.
**Possibility of car pooling

There will be all types of of service to be done, such as...
- Outside planting of bulbs.
- 4 small murals in the stairwells, 1 large mural in the auditorium, and a few canvas murals to be painted. The theme is "Doors to Our Future."
- In the Library... Books need to be cataloged. Signs need to be made for different stations in the library. Level and shelve books. Art work needs to be hung. A small mural may also need to be painted.
- Coaches Corner - a room for math coach, reading coach, etc. needs serious organizing.
- In the basement - 3 rooms need to be cleaned out. There are a lot of new books that need to be stamped and delivered to classrooms. A mural in the basement also needs some touch ups to brighten up the room.
- Classrooms will be receiving the books from the basement storage and will need to be leveled and shelved.
