T-shirts ordered!

To all of you who ordered t-shirts, we have now placed the order with the t-shirt printing company. We anticipate that we should have them in our hands before the 4th of July, and we will then get them to you as soon as possible. Thank you for helping, and thank you for waiting so patiently to get your shirts! We will not be taking any more shirt orders at this time.

If you still feel called to give to a wonderful cause and support adoption, we would like to suggest that you donate directly to our adoption agency, New Life Pregnancy Center. There is a link near the bottom of our page to their website, where you can donate online. We truly love the staff and feel like they are a part of our family. We know they have all made substantial sacrifices in time and money to do the job that the Lord has called them to do.

Fundraising Goal Reached!

We have great news to share! We have essentially reached our fundraising goal to cover the remaining fees for Samuel’s adoption! Thanks so much to all of you for spreading the word, for your prayers, and for your very generous donations! We feel so humbled to receive such an outpouring of blessing from all of you!

For those of you who really want one of those great t-shirts, we will continue to accept orders until the end of the day on Friday, June 12. At that time we will place one big order (including the shirts for all of you who have ordered already) with the printing company. After the order is placed, we anticipate we will be shipping or delivering your shirts to you within a week or two.

Update

We can't believe how quickly the kids are growing! Samuel is almost 5 months old and is full of smiles and giggles! He is rolling over and acts like he is ready to crawl (we hope he holds off a while on that accomplishment). Shiloh is full of mischief. She always has a twinkle in her eyes and a smile on her face. You can't help but laugh even when she is getting into trouble, because that grin is so infectious. Lilli is becoming a "big girl" right before our eyes! Today she dressed herself, brushed her hair, and made her bed by herself. Of course, none of those things was done perfectly, but that isn't the point. She was very proud of herself, and we are proud of her. We are amazed every day at these precious children that God has entrusted to us! We are agonizingly aware of what a big job it is to raise children, but we are oh so grateful that we have been given the opportunity! God filled up a big hole in our hearts and made us into a family!

Thanks to all of you who have supported us so far, either by ordering a t-shirt, praying for us, and/or forwarding our blog link to others who might be interested. We will be placing a shirt order with the printing company soon (they require a minimum number, so we are holding our orders to submit in batches). We can't wait to see the shirts and to get them out to you! Thank you for your patience in the meantime. We have not yet reached our fundraising goal, and we are continuing to take orders, but we are so blessed by the generosity of those who have responded so far! We pray that you are blessed in turn!

Welcome!

We have 3 incredible little blessings running around our home - Lilli is 3 1/2 years old, Shiloh is 19 months old, and Samuel is 4 months old!

God fulfilled our dreams for children and blessed us beyond what we could have possibly imagined! Each of these precious children has been "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14), and God handpicked them to be part of our forever family through adoption!

Lilli, Shiloh, and Samuel each came home to our family when they were only a few days old. Each one has a special story, and each occurred much more quickly than we expected. Last fall we received the phone call that brought the biggest surprise of all - a biological sibling of Lilli's would soon be born. At the time we didn't know if the baby was a boy or a girl, but we were excited about bringing another blessing home to join our family. That little blessing was Samuel, born in January. In the last 3 1/2 years God has blessed us to be able to pay for the first 2 adoptions without assistance. But now we feel that God wants us to allow others to participate in His plan for these incredible miracles! We need some help to raise funds to pay the last of our adoption fees for Samuel. (Note: See June 18 update above - we are no longer taking shirt orders).

To thank you for your donation of $25 or more, we will send you a t-shirt which has been lovingly and generously designed by Larry's cousin Kendal. You can view a mock-up of the shirt in five color options (creme, new silver, heather grey, sea foam green or pink) on this page. These are high quality American Apparel t-shirts with a beautiful original design. If you donate $50, $75, or some other multiple of $25 and would like additional t-shirts accordingly, please be sure to indicate that on your order. On the last page of the donation section, be sure to complete the requested information for the shirt color(s), number of shirts and size(s). Sizes available are XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL. There are also some childrens' and youth sizes available in some colors. If you are interested in those, send us an email with your size and color preferences, and we will check with the t-shirt shop.
