Working With The Pack In Training

These Akitas range from 1 to 5 years, are indoors but the front door is wide open AND there are people and dogs loose in the front yard.  What is significant is that this video shows these Akitas behaving, not rushing the door, and responding to the handler, not to each other or to distractions.  Their training is still in progress.

18 month old Alyssa Marie even then was constantly playing with the pups.  She has 'dressed' the pups, pushed them in doll strollers, read them bedtime stories, even snuck out in the middle of the night to snuggle with them so they wouldn't be 'lonely.'

Michelle and Joe - Thank you for making our family transition so easy! Kiko and Dallas are best friends already.

I've had a love for Akita's since the time I was first "chosen" in 1989. To those who have never had the opportunity to spend life with this breed, you are missing out on a great experience!

You guys are not "breeders" as known by today's standard; you are Akita lovers giving us all the opportunity to explore and nurture this wonderful, loyal animal. I thank you for your love and knowledge. I thank you for allowing us easy access to the photos. As new adoptees, we look forward to constant updates and you sure do not disappoint! Since the day I was born I have lived with an Akita, and ever since they have been my best friends. Right now I have a 13 year old female(Rascal) whom I was raised with and a 1 year old male (Harley). Both of these wonderful dogs came from the Aguilar's litters. Akitas are great family dogs and I will always have one in my life.

We are animal folks and have been all our lives.....but this is our first adventure into being owned by an akita.  Between us we have owned MANY large breed, and medium breeds and even a few small breed dogs.   The honor of being owned by an akita is unparalled!!!!!   These dogs keep you on your toes, and keep you laughing constantly, but they always carry an heir of regalness I have never seen in any other breed.  I must say if you are considering an Akita ......this is the place to buy.   These babies come pre-spoiled, and with as much tech support as you need as raising an akita is unlike any other breed.  I am completely sold ....and Michelle and her family are the BOMB!!  We really appreciate ya'll.
