AIM Gym - Teams

We have 2 gymnastics teams at AIM. The Gym Gems and the Gym Jewels. By having 2 teams that have different philosophy's we hope that all children can experience the competitive sport of gymnastics.

GYM GEMS

The girls that represent our Gym Gem team commit to training for an entire year. The Compulsory Levels 1-6 do routines made up by USA Gymnastics. Optional Levels 7-10 do individual routines based on skill requirements set by USA Gymnastics. The higher level an athlete is the more time they must work out each week.


GYM JEWELS

The girls that represent our Gym Jewel team commit to training 2 days a week during the school year. These girls compete at a more Recreational Level designed to allow them to experience the “competitiveness” of the sport and also do other sports. These girls begin competing in January and attend fewer meets than the Gym Gems so that they can have more time for their other choice sports.
