Palatine Celtic Cup
Wow!!! I just want to say WOW! I have not been so proud to have such hard working boys! I want to thank you parents also for being there for them. For getting them to the fields and cheering them on! This was such a great start for the boys and I am truely looking forward to the upcoming season!
WOW!
PSI
Well after all that, PSI was cancelled. The boys did awesome at both of their games. It was nice to finally play boys our own age! And get a win! I'm sorry to see Mirela go, she's on her way to Colorado as I write this. The boys learned alot from her and she made them better players. Thank you Mirela for all you did for our boys and us, the friendship will last a long time.
We have two more games, June 1st and June 11th. Ryan will be coaching June 1st and Josh will be coaching June 11th. Ryan said he is looking forward to coaching the boys this wednesday. Practices are all four days monday - thursday. The other U10 boys practice tuesday and thursday and the U11 boys practice monday and wednesday. You are able to go to any of the practices, they are 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on all days.
Cold Start
I asked Hunter in the car.. "Did you have fun?" It was a big "YES", not that he could feel anything! Good job boys! Fun start!
Good Luck Alliance 01 Boys White
Vincent and the whole family is wishing you all a great spring season! Play your hardest, go win some and as many as you can but always make sure to have fun and give your best!!! We miss you all!
After poking around Vincent got to attend practice with two different teams for two different clubs... Finally, just before our vacation, we got confirmation that there is now an opening on one of the team for him and he will get to play the last game of the season (first weekend of May) and in one or two tournaments after that... We're looking forward to it!
Since our move, we attended the Premier League games between West Brom and Birmingham in Birmingham and Birmingham against Blackburn in Blackburn. And just this week, during our vacation in Italy, we went to see Juventus against Fiorentina in Florence! Really cool!
Go Alliance!
Indoor Regionals
What a fun day yesterday! Boys did awesome, plassing, shooting! wonderful to watch! Go White today, kick some ....... You guys are so much better than them!!!! keep you heads up and go for the goals!
Futsal - Rough start!
This has been a rough start for the boys, most of them being introduced to futsal for the first time. We played two strong teams and they just can get better from here...
Fall Season is over - already☹!
In a hard fought and well played match against the first team of the division, the team won 2-0, placing us temporarily in first place and assuring us of a second place! A great through pass from Sawyer to Braedon and an awesome shot from this one early in the first half gave us the advantage 1-0! The other team, quite taller, bigger and faster than us tried to come back but our passing game was at its highest and we controlled the play. After many near goals from our team, with less than two minutes left in the game, Vincent scored on a free kick from the 18 yard line to give us an insurance goal!
Good job to all the boys. Like coach Mirela told them after the game: "The only way they could won that game was if each of them played their hardest and they all played together!" And they did!
This has been a great season! Thanks to the boys, the coach and all the families who've committed their time: no one ever miss a game!!!
Way to go!
Lots of passing and not being selfish worked well! Fun to watch! Bravo boys!
AWESOME TEAM!!!!
The boys did awesome! This is a great start of a great season! GO ALLIANCE! So much fun to watch how they are going together!
Genesee Cup
The boys worked hard and what they learned this weekend will help them later this season. I enjoyed watching them. Too bad we were missing so many players: it certainly hurt the team results!
Here we are!
Team Camp starts this week... summer's almost over and soccer season is at our door!
-Players are expected to arrive to all games minimum of 45 minutes prior to the kick-off unless otherwise directed by the coach
-Players need to make every attempt to schedule their meals at least 2 hours prior to the kick-off. This should allow enough time for digestion.
-No heavy foods at any time during the tournament. Players are expected to consume very little or no dairy products at all for breakfast.Bagels, muffins, toast, boiled or scrambled eggs, with juice should be the main source of energy. Different meats can serve as a great source of protein.Dairy products digest very slow and often create uncomfortable stomach issues.
Pizza and pasta are ok for dinner at the end of the day.
-No running around between games.Players are expoected to find “down time” that includes staying off the feet and RESTING. Watching movies with teammates is a great way to bond and have fun!!
-Please see the following curfew for the various age-groups: 9:00 P.M. for U/8-U/12
10:00 P.M. for U/13 and up
This means players may not be roaming around the hallways 15 minute prior to their curfew. Everyone should be in their rooms.
-As a premier club we do not support our players spending extensive time swimming during tournament weekends. However, it is left up to the coaches discretion to allow up to 20 minutes of swimtime for players in the younger age-groups. We trust that coaches and parents will monitor that accordingly.v
