Specializing in custom nursery bedding, dresses, aprons, baby blankets and more! The perfect way to express your child's individuality!
My very first experience with sewing came at about age 6. My grandpa and grandma gave me my first play sewing machine, it was pink! Even back then I enjoyed creating something that I could call my own. Growing up, my mom, would sew my halloween costumes and make little dresses for me. I always felt if it was available for sale, surely my mom could make it! As I got older, I attempted to make my own clothing, and quickly realized that it I too could sew like my mom. The sewing craze really started for me when I was pregnant with our first child. We didn't want to find out what the sex of the baby was, which made it very difficult to pick out nursery bedding. Frustrated with my choices of yellow ducks, bears, and children's characters, I decided to create my own nursery bedding. From there it's escalated into baby blankets, burp rags and bibs, and much more! With our second child, I was able to explore the wonderful world of little GIRL clothing! What fun! With that came the creation of the pillowcase dresses. They are adorable little dresses that can be as dressy or as casual as you'd like. This adventure which started out as a hobby has quickly turned into a wonderful way to meet new people and create unique products for others. I feel blessed to have this opportunity.
Absolutely love the dresses!!! Now only if I can find a little girl to put in one! Great work Angie!

There are great fabrics everywhere you turn! Fabrics have come a long ways in the last 5 years. There are so many fun designs to choose from. I've compiled some of my favorites here in a spreadsheet. Though going to your local fabric store such as Hobby Lobby, JoAnn Fabrics, Hancocks, etc can help you find what you're looking for as well. Online shopping can also get you some great ideas.
I generally let the customer pick out what material they want. They tell me what size they're needing, I tell them how much material to get, and then I take care of the rest. However, I also have picked out the fabric with the guidance of the customer too.
(Hint) If you are planning to use the pillowcase dresses as part of a family picture, it is ALWAYS easier to find dad's or brother's attire first. Then bring that along when picking out the fabric for the girls.
