I am glad you are here for a visit!

I changed the format of this website. At the top you will find 3 tabs:
1)Home
2)Blog
3)Recipes
4) Road Trip to WA
5) New Pictures
Let me know how you like the new format.
Above pictures were taken on our 13 day road trip to Washington state and back.
I am going to try to keep this site current. I want to have only one months worth of journals on here at a time. But I will keep the photo albums and books on here until I get tired of them

Hi Jennifer,
I think your pictures are BEAUTIFUL. I LOOOOVEEE the yellow bird. I cannot believe how many photo books you have collected in such a short time. Thats a good looken camera you have there!!!!!
Love,
Krissy
Linda, I make up a lot of my own recipes, though, I am still a fan of my bookcase full of cookbooks. I find recipes in magazines at work and also from booklets at the grocery store. I rarely use the Internet to find a recipe.
I use a Canon Powershot S3 IS. It is 6.0 mega pixels. The IS stands for Image Stabilizer. I did a lot of research before buying it 3 years ago. I like to be able to take pictures on the go. I don't have the patience for dragging around lenses you have to change out or for carrying a tripod. By the time you change the lense the photo opportunity is usually gone. I do use a tripod for group photos. I have only done that a couple times. This camera is perfect for me. Digital cameras are like computers they become outdated quickly. They have a 12 mega pixels version of this camera now.
Linda, maybe I will see you at church this morning. Today is the big day....we are in the new building. If I don't see you today, we will see you at Fiesta's on Friday night before the Good Friday service.

Mother, Dear,

I am glad you used my photo and gave me credit for it on the back of the card. So thoughtful of you.
Dearesr Jenn,
Thank you for all the very nice pictures you take. I used one this week on the front of a Thank You note for the Drama Teacher of a local Christian High School. She invited us to a benefit performance of Fiddler On The Roof. Here is a picture of the front of the card.

This teacher has the ability to really pull the best from each of the kids. She is a real blessing!!
Thanks again for your great photos!!!

Tracy and Pat,
Try uploading Mozilla or got to Google Earth to find current Java Script. I had the same problem with Java Script with our old computer. I loaded Mozilla and didn't have any more problems. My Dad helped me with it. So, Dad if you have any other advice please add it to my Blog.
Hi, Sweetie Pie! I'm so glad to hear from you! I got the rainbow card you made me in the mail today. Your Mom also included some photos. I hope to see you in person soon.
Have a happy day!
Hi Jenn, this is Taylor I like your pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOVE,
TAYLOR
I am amazed every time I am on your site. Your photos are breathtaking. Although I don't know when you find time to put everything in.. I seem to be doing it in a hurry and in my 3 seconds of spare time.... BLAAHHHH.... Well I love the photos.. Another beautiful year for your photo book.....I think some of your photos are better than the ones we saw at the farmers market.. Theirs were bigger, but I think yours are cleaner and crisp. hope to see you soon.
Krissy
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, Look how Pritty you LOOK!!!!!! LOve the hair cut, Funny I was just thinking of cutting mine 3 days ago and passed. Close to the same hair cut. Hahaa.. You can really see Gods touch in the sun rise photo's. Love ya and miss you both soooo much.
Love,
Krissy
Krissy,
You are so funny. You know? I had the pictures that didn't make the cut for the book on here and then decided to replace them with the Ouray photos. Of course, you knew!
You're a good friend! Thanks for all your nice comments.
I like the others always new that you needed your own website.. In fact two years ago, we thought it should be a World Class Book. After seeing your web page I am begining to think it should be a News Paper....
The Times With Jennifer Alvey!
I love the site and OF course all the pictures. They are Perfect as usual... Although I know you and how you take pictures... SO if you have a few hundred showable ones, how many did'nt make the cut?
The organization of the site is fantastic, better than some of the perfessional ones I visit....You should be proud of your self, I am!!! The kids love the site to... IT IS FAMILY ORIENTATED>. haha..
I have to say though, I miss the e-mails!!!!.
Miss you too,
Love,
Krissy, Taylor, Sean
I always thought you should have a blog with all your great photos and your ability to give such great descriptions of what you are doing.
I am trying to access the photos, but it won't let me see the Alamosa album for some reason.
I will keep trying.
Love you bunches,
Mom

The picture of Sean is actually the day he lost his first TOOTH... YAAHHHH
The Paintings are as follows..... Scratch or learning my brushes
Light house. My very first painting, finnished last week. The tree is actually a replica painting of a MONET .... hmmmm I can see I am not a natural... haha
The sunset is warped and I am not sure why. I also could not get the right colors, I think I needed a filter....PHotography in process.....
Oh and all the kids are from Seans B day Party...... That was a lot of fun. We had a small gathering at the park. Sean got a bike, Cars, radio, airplains, money, and dinosaurs.
It was a lot of fun.
