-Ingerdients-
2 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt 1 cup better, softened
1 cup sugar 1 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla 2 large eggs
2 cups chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnuts/pecans (optional)

1) heat oven to 375
2)stir flour with baking soda and salt; set aside
3)In large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar until crreamy
4)add vanilla & eggs, one at a time, until incorporated
5)gradually blend dry mixture into creamy mixtaure
6)stir in chocolate chips & nuts
7) drop by tablespoon onto UN-greased cookie sheet
8) Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown
As you can see, and girls didn't exactally follow the recipie! Thats probabally why the cookies didn't turn out! ~enjoy~

Lost Licorice
One hot, summer day Nellie was reading her favorite magazine when Coconut walked up.
He nudged her in the side. "What do you want?" Nellie asked The minis sat and told their scariest stories.
He nudged her again. "Stop" she screamed. The mini's were bored and fell asleep.
"Miaaa!" Nellie yelled
"MIAAAA" she yelled again louder this time
"What?" Mia asked coming into the room.
"Go get Licorice to play with Coconut! He is driving me crazy!!"
"I'll go look for her." The mini's woke up and started playing follow the leader
The mini's started climbing up the table.
"Just a sec, " Nellie said as Coconut nudged her again.
"I can't find her anywhere" Mia said walking into the room "check the food bowl"
"Ewww! Nellie, what are your socks doing in the food???" Mia yelled. "Wrong bowl, Mia!" Nellie yelled back.
"Not in the food bowl, it's full. She must have been gone all morning." Mia said over her shoulder
"Maybe she went outside" Nellie suggested, "let's go look"
The got up and left, not knowing the mini's were following right behind.
They went outside.
"Let's split up and look" Mia said
The mini's went out on their own and ran into "a beast"
Nellie looked in the plants. "I wonder where she could be?" she asked herself.
Kit and Molly decided to climb on top of "the beast". Nellie fainted.
"She isn't behind the tree." Mia thought to herself.
Nikki saw Mia and asked, "Whatcha' doin?"
The mini's now left "the beast" and decide to swing.
Mia explained to Nikki that they were looking for Licorice.
"Let's go join Nellie and help her look." Nikki said
The started towards the woodpile.
"What are you doing up there?" Mia yelled at Nellie.
Meanwhile, tried of swing the mini's started to climb the woodpile.
"The beast" watched with interest what was going on around him.
Nellie yelled down, "I thought that if I climbed up here I could see Licorice."
"I am going to come join you!" Nikki yelled up
"You guys are going to fall and get hurt!" Mia yelled in an experated voice.
"No we won't" Nellie yelled "I can't see Licorice, so we'll come down now"
the mini's started to climb a tree.
The group split up and Nellie looked in the garden.
"I can't find Licorice anywhere!" Nellie yelled in agony.
"It doesn't look like she was in the flowers." She mused to herself
the mini's made their way up the tree.
Mia looked over by the grill.
While Nikki looked in some flowers on the table.
"Licorice wasn't here" Mia said stating to get worried.
Nikki looked under the table. "I wonder where she could be." she thought
Mia looked in a chair. no licorice.
"Not up on the deck!" Nikki screamed.
Nikki checked under the deck but Licorice hadn't been their either.
They all went to the garden. "There is only one place she could be" Nikki said.
"She's got to be in that bush over there." Nikki exclaimed. "But it's so hot..." Mia said. "OK, let's go!" Nellie said, after thinking in the corner for a while.
The Mini's finally reached the top of the tree.
The threesome crossed the sidewalk hot drive way to the bush. "It's soooo hot!" Mia cried out in agony.
They started looking carefully in the bush, calling Licorice the whole time.
"There she is!" Nikki yelled.
"Licorice!" They all yelled as they sat down to play with her.
the mini's though were not through and tried to open the grill.
They were ready to have a snack...
with their new found friend.
The End (the girls never found out the mini's were with them!)

Mia was getting ready for church one Sunday morning.
When Nellie stepped out of the bathroom.
"What are you wearing?!!!"
"Clothes" Nellie replied bluntly.
"It's a disgrace!" Mia yelled
"Would you rather I wear blue-jeans?" Nellie asked. "YES!!"
Okay. Nellie said weirdly
Mia bent down to pick up her purse. Muttering to herself, "Oh, Nellie. How could she think she could wear that?"
"Better?" Nellie asked sarcastically.
"Whatever. I don't want to discuss this any further."
Nikki sat waiting at church for Nellie and Mia to come.
She jumped up when she saw them come in. "Hi" she said.
"hi" "hi" Mia and Nikki shared a hug.
They all sit down and started to sing. Nellie eyed Nikki's clothes.
"Did you see what Nikki is wearing," Nellie asked whispering
"Yes" said Mia " we are buying you new clothes tomoroow!!"
The next day...
"Come on let's go shopping" Mia said the next morning.
They walked down the street to the store.
They sat down on a comfy couch.
The store clerk walked up. "Hi my name is Lily can I be of any assistance?"
" We are looking for some Junior-sized dresses for me and Her" Mia said, looking @ Nellie.
"I have just the thing. follow me"
They got up and followed Lily.
She pushed back the pocket door. In the Junior's department.
"Here it is! Nikki said "Our brand-new Clothes-A-Rama!"

The girls were sleeping in late one Saturday morning, when a knock came at the door.
