It is a pity that Andorra's party-people reputation means you won't need to take your mummy and father with you on your ski break in case the apri ski was too much for them. To be honest, Andorra's reputation is usually for its nightlife ( read loud and animated ) naturally, as alcohol and cigarettes ( with the rest ) is tax free you'd expect it, and for noobs wanting to party with mates and have good schooling to find out how to ski ( and possibilities to pick up loads of good duty-free products in close by capital La Valla 7 km away ) Arinsal's a good choice. However Arinsal is trying tirelessly to be flavorful and amicable to families - and there are good childcare facilities as well as good provision for newbs, that it could be a good selection for all members of the family to have good skiing as well as an evening social life. Dads de la Casa perched on the French border is also animated and full of French and English party people Ma and Pop may not fancy this a lot, and those among us ( like me ) who can't stay up the bulk of the night and still ski in the morning may not have the endurance, but of course, those in the still young tourism bracket may wish to give it their best shot!
