Bio

Annie Heisey is a working artist in Portland, OR. She got her BFA in Drawing and Painting, as well as a BA in Art Education, at Penn State in 2003. In 2007 she received an MFA in Painting from Boston University. She currently teaches at the Pacific Northwest College of Art and the Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, OR. She is the proud owner of the ugliest couch known to man. She also enjoys pina coladas, but getting caught in the rain is more of a habit than a pastime in the Pacific Northwest.

The stories these paintings have a talent for telling is incredible. A whole reality and history can be created out of a single still frame.
