Welcome to the Aquia Harbour Dolphins!

Established in 1975, the Aquia Harbour Dolphins is a non-profit summer swim organization which competes in the Battlefield Division of the Rappahannock Swim League. The Aquia Harbour Dolphins are dedicated to instilling outstanding sportsmanship and physical fitness through competitive aquatics.

Family Night & Final Registration

Tue, 22 May in the lower level of the Country Club from 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

Meet the Dolphins' Board of Directors (listed below bottom-left) and the Coaches (now listed below left) for the 2012 Summer season on the Dolphins' final registration night.

NOTE: Aardvark Swim WILL NOT be on hand and new registrants will have to wait until uniform orders are processed and suits are delivered.

Practice Schedule posted

The BOD has hammered out the Dolphins practice schedule. It is now posted on the calendar (below and at the "Calendar" tab)

Evening practices will run 5pm-8:30pm, Mon-Fri, beginning Tue, 29 May and running through Tue, 19 June.

Morning practices will run 8am-11:45am, Mon-Fri, beginning Wed, 20 Jun and running through Fri, 03 Aug.

*** SPECIAL DATES ***

Thu, 14 June - Dolphins Time Trials (5-8:30pm for all Dolphins at the pool)

Fri, 15 Jun - NO PRACTICE - Last day of school

4th of July week - NO PRACTICES - Holiday break

RSL Training (Revised - 27 April)

For those interested in being Meet Officials such as Stroke & Turn Judges, or Clerk of the Course... the RSL has released the training dates. To fulfill one of these position you must take the online class at Stroke&Turn.com (web-site also shown in "Related Links" at the bottom right ), print out the completion certificate, and then turn it in at one of the classes. The Dolphins Swim Team will reimburse you the online course fee upon delivery of completion certificate. The class schedule is as follows:

Thurs May 31^st, 2012 - Country Club from 6:30-8:30 pm

Sat Jun 2^nd, 2012 - Hampton Oaks from 9:00-11:00 am

Wed Jun 6^th, 2012 - Spotsylvania YMCA from 6:30-8:30 am

Sat Jun 9^th, 2012 - Hopyard Farms from 9:00-11:00 am

Tues Jun 12^th, 2012 - Salem Fields from 6:00-8:00 pm

We never can have too many Stroke & Turn Officials! Also, if you're coming up on the end of your 2-yr certification, you'll need to take the online course again and go to one of the training dates as well. For those who are USAA or VHSL certified officials, we're working on getting the RSL to generate the form that allows your qual to carry over to the RSL.
