Transgender (TG, tgirl, transwoman, etc.) is a [general] term used to refer to individuals whose gender identity and or expression (man, woman, masculine, feminine, etc.) is different from their birth sex (male, female). Sometimes it's used interchangeably with the term Transsexual. Sometimes it's used as a catch-all term to include crossdressers and dragqueens. What's important to know is NOT to label Transgenders.
