This theme is one offered for folks who are part of a "group". That's why I put the "Tea Party" picture of witches up as a picture. It's one of my favorite pictures, truth be known.
I've been talking about my neighbor, Jolly, from Uganda, for years. I have a picture of her on my website where we look at pots from Uganda. I wonder if a link works in this journal, let's try it out...

Today she came over to give me a tie dyed scarf her cousin makes in Uganda and I roped her into sit for a video. All these years and now the ClayMates can put a voice to a name for Jolly too.
What I was making effort to do was to leave a comment on Peabody's shutterfly account and then got an invite to make my own account. I thought I might as well to show the CITYzens at CITY-Computer what this sort of account looks like.
The hardest thing about setting up another account is coming up with a name. "Out of sight, out of mind" seemed fitting because I have so many blogs and public accounts that I can't keep track of them, don't keep them up to date because most of them are experimental, like this one is. So out of sight, out of mind.
Also there's a second meaning to both "out of sight" and "out of mind". "Out of sight" is so hippy and I'm a boomer, "That love-in was out of sight" and "Out of mind" ... well we all know what it means when you say someone was out of their mind. I must be out of my mind to even open another electronic presence. But oh well.
I also love the date of September 9, 2009, as 090909. Even though I'm starting this account on 8/31/09, that date doesn't have the same impact as 090909.
We'll see what sort of things I'll be putting here. I'm not quite sure and I don't want to accept "members" until I know what sort of content I'm going to have here. This account, for now, is just an experiment for CITY-Computers.
I just added a video, as an experiment and I do like wearing my hijab while doing the video. It's a mercy to "cover up" and not have to worry about what I look like.
