Okay, so I haven't really updated this site.  I knew I would get behind on something if I tried to do alot of things at once.  Last month Aislynn had her 6 month check up.  She is growing just as she should.  She is about 16 pounds and is 26 inches.  Wow, so much has changed.  She is still pretty lazy about moving around.  I put her on her back and she just lays there.  Then I put her on her stomach and she plays a little and either will roll to her back or just fuss.  If I sit her up she can sit for a while and then eventually topples over.  I can also see that a tooth is on the horizon of pushing through the gums.  She is giving me so much joy and I am sad that she is growing up so quickly right before my eyes.  She has given me two full nights of sleep the past couple of days.  That has been nice.  She is my baby girl.

I am so bad at keeping this site up to date.  Aislynn is now almost 4 months old and is keeping us very busy.  Today she is sick with me.  We have some sort of cold/congestion stuff.  It's no fun.  She is very active.  She is still working on rolling over and can sit up if I just support her at the waist.  She likes to be up high and look around at things.  She also tries to sit up when I lay her down.  I think she has some good tummy muscles to do that.  The nights are still a work in progress.  She is still waking a couple of times a night.  I am crossing my fingers that it gets better over the next month or so.  I will keep everyone updated.  I am also going to add some new pics of her.

I have not been good about keeping up with this site as well as the other one.  Aislynn's 2 month check up went well.  She is healthy and growing as she should.  She was 10 lbs 8 oz and 23 3/4 inches long.  She is really smiling a lot and laughing a little every now and then.  Just the other day she started reaching for her turtle and snail on her bouncey seat.  It's neat to see how they grow and learn.  She is making more noises too, making sure to let herself be known. 

I can't believe that Aislynn is already 6 weeks old.  She seems so much bigger to me already.  She is smiling all the time now and is really alert much of her awake time.  She is sleeping pretty good at night.  She still wakes up usually once in the middle of the night and then she is ready to eat again early morning.  Since I am getting up around 6:30 or 7:00 anyways to help get McKenna ready for school and get a shower in myself, it's not too bad getting up for that feeding.  I am hoping she will start sleeping even longer over the next month.  I can't remember when the girls started sleeping through the night consistantly but I believe it was around 4 months.  Hopefully Aislynn will follow in their footsteps.  All I know is that each and every day I feel so blessed to have these three wonderful girls.  I couldn't ask for anything more.

I weighed and measured Aislynn to see what her growth was for one month.  She is about 9.2 lbs and 22.5 inches now.  She seems to be growing like a weed.  I think she is going to be more like McKenna was as a baby.  Kambry was always so skinny and still is.  Aislynn will be a chunky monkey before long.  Last night was a good night.  She did a little fussing right as I was ready to sit down to eat dinner.  So, I ate real quick, wrapped her up all snug and we went a laid down on the bed.  Before long she was out like a light.  And slept for about 7 hours before waking again.  I could get used to this for sure.

So today was my first day alone with all three girls.  I think it went pretty well.  Now I am having to cart Kambry and Aislynn along with me to McKenna's preschool to drop her off.  Aislynn has decided that she is not a fan of her car seat.  She cried almost the whole time when we were going to drop off and pick up.  By time we got there she was tired of crying and did fine on the way home.  On another note, Aislynn has started to smile as of last Thursday or Friday.  I am still trying to get a good picture of it but what I do have I will put on here.  Kambry is still a big helper and gets me anything I need for Aislynn, even when I don't need it.  McKenna likes to give her kisses but is not as involved as Kambry.  They are great big sisters and I can't wait until they are older to see how they interact with each other.  So until next time, take care.

Aislynn had her 2 week checkup on Sept 5th.  She was already 8 lbs, 6.5 ounces and 21 inches so I know she is eating great.  On average she sleeps at 4-6 hour stretches at night and is awake for a lot of the morning.  She is a very good baby.  She likes to look at faces and loves to go poopy in her pants.  The only smiles I have seen so far are those dealing with gas I believe.
