This set shows photos of bamboos grown wild, naturalized or cultivated in and around Chiang Mai, northern Thailand.

The main purpose is to display photos of bamboo species and varieties for ease of identification, based on vegetative characters. Therefore, the set has a bias to show habit, culms, culm-sheaths, foliage leaves and shoots of each bamboo.
