Hi Barry, thanks for dropping by to say hello. As a fellow Brit I can assure you that you ain't missing anything in the UK. As usual, the weather is awful and the days are so short! Do you remember getting up in the dark and coming home in the dark? LOL. I have not done much flower photography myself over the last few months and miss the challenge of getting a good image. I have just bought the Sigma 24-70 and am looking forward to seeing what it can do. As always your photography is stunning. Hi Barry, its been awhile - whenever i come here - a sense of peace comes over me. Thank you for your comments on my sunset pics. It means a lot coming from a pro like you. I had fun sitting by the water in pure amazement as the sun was setting. I tried to get up early the next morning but couldn't find the sunrise!

Hi Barry, Hope all is well, just stopping by for a visit in your pictures. That header is amazing!! I went to New Mexico for the Balloon Fiesta and met up with Jean, Jamie and Linda there. It was an awesome time! New Mexico is wonderful, full of character and color, then there's the mountains and the Aspens just about blew me away, so beautiful. Loved it!!

Thanks for stopping by!! In regards to the autumn headers I have to confess that usually this time of year I start really missing the cooler months. Especially October because it brings all the wonderful fall colors, cooler breezes and the beginning of all the holidays :) I also have to confess that I am that annoying gal that starts decorating way too early :) Not too bad but some. So I put the headers up and the next thing I know I'm digging out every fall picture I can find. I even went back and looked at the beautiful falls leaves you lent to me, just beautiful :)
So I beg everyones forgiveness and hope ya'll can indulge me in my love of the coming months.
I hope that you have a moment or two for relaxing and maybe some picture taking :) As always your site is a beauty to visit :)

Hi Barry. I think that I am in the same boat you are. I have so many photos that I need to organize..upload...get prints....make books....post to my site. We have done so much this summer that things have just been crazy. Had a lot going on to. I love the header. It is beautiful. We are having a break from the heat today. Raining!! WOO HOO! Wonderful header!!!!!!! I want to learn how to do that. Are you traveling right now? We took the kids to Kings Island yesterday. I can't wait to upload the pictures for you guys to see! They had so much fun! (And I had fun taking their pictures!) Alyssa loved the roller coasters! Mason loved the train! Hey there!!! I'm BACK!! Can't believe the DVD is FINALLY done! I wanted to make the rounds and try to visit as many as I could before the kids get home from Grandma's. I so much love to look at your photos and relax! I can't wait to add some of the flowers I just took pictures of...I have a beautiful purple Lupine photo. He would fit in well with your flowers...hahaha...(Although you lighting is MUCH better) LOL. I'm looking for a new lens for my bird photos...Looking at at 50-500 or 150-500 (Sigma) Going to get it with my DVD money. How's work??? Didn't you say you have another trip planned? Barry. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Did you do anything that involved picture taking? I also love your new profile photo. Well this weekend I went to the New York Botonical Garden in the Bronx, NY. Took about 150 photos altogether. I'm in the process of uploading them today and will add them to my Gallery site in a day or two so come on by. Thanks for dropping by my Fun & Games page. I just couldn't get it right. It is challenging. Although if I had a high-tech camera, I'm sure i could get it. :) The cheesecake always makes me hungry too. I may need to move it to another page!!! Hi Barry, thanks for stopping by and for the comment :) Makes my day when I get visitors. Texas is so pretty with bluebonnets this time of year, you have to take as many pictures as you can because come summer things will be looking pretty dry. It's tradition here in Texas to haul the family out into the bluebonnets and take pictures, usually happens around Easter :) I'm taking Kyleigh this weekend to do just that. She moves a mile a minute so I'm hoping to get maybe 1 to 2 good ones (out of 250 shots probably :). It'll be fun though, she loves to be outside.

Your flower header is just what I needed. You asked whats going on w/ the weather in ND. Well, we are having a flood, we had a snowstorm yesterday (wednesday) - it's a mess. I'm ok as well as my family. But if the river keeps rising, who knows what will happen. Its overwhelming seeing the news coverage of all the people coming out to sandbag. It's a great community seeing everyone come together to fight this battle.

I don't have your email so I had to ask you on here. (you can delete aft you read if you want) I have a question for the expert(YOU) I am getting really bad shadows and was told its due to my flash. I was told to get an umbrella. I don't want to spend a bunch of money but want to get what I need to get rid of shadows and have more light. could you look at this website and tell me what would be a good thing to get robertsimaging.com (i searched umbrella and it brought up some kits...there was one for 179. but i'm not sure if that is what I need or not) Thanks so much Barry!! Happy Holidays Barry! The season is quickly approaching us. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to visit sooner. I appreciate your comments on my page, as always. This month has been so busy. Thought i'd pop in and say HELLO! Wanted to see the beautiful flower pictures to brighted my cold day!!! BURRRRR!!! Can't wait until Spring to get outside with the camera...(Inside lighting is so hard! I need to take some classes! Shadows are a killer!) I read on another site that you are originally from England and hadn't gotten your completely around Thanksgiving. Thanks for visiting again! I'm still working on my site (I need a under construction sign!) hahaha. I almost hated to put my flowers on my page after seeing yours!! Yours are just so breath taking! Are all the flowers in your yard? My yard/flowers are going to be in the area garden tour next May. Too bad you don't live closer!! I also learned how to get more butterflys. ie- Put a rock in the flower garden with a small plate and a bananna. Rock is to help their wings dry and the other is to feed them. We'll see how that works.

wow, wow, wow, love the colors of your photography. Each page that is dedicated to a color is so neat. I saw your site another members page and thought i would drop in for a visit; glad I did. I enjoy taking scenery pictures but often have no clue what i am doing. I read a comment you left on another site, she had asked for advice on her pictures (her pictures are wonderful) and you said just to keep following your passion, that if you love it that is all that matters. I love that!!! It's so true and if I might add when you are following your passion it comes thru in what you photograph, you can't fail. You are a talented photographer and now I know a kind man :)

Cool Barry, you did THAT on dumpr.net? i have to try that. Isn't that fun? Thanks for putting your picture on my map and nice comments on my site. If you get a chance, visit the Blog. Its kind of hard to find, its usually on the right or left side of the Gallery page. It won't say BLOG, but it will have a different name on it. Just click on it and it will direct you to the Blog. If you click 'home' you'll see the most current articles...I think most people think the blog is just for Guru's - we welcome any and all comments. Even if its just 'thanks for sharing this article - etc.' I had no idea what to say at first but now i get a bit long winded as you can see.

Hi Barry! Love what you have done with your site. I love the collage pages. How fascinating is that. WOWEEE! Stop by my site sometime and put your photo on my map - it's so cool! I just saw a comment you left on Grandma Boyds book. You should put a book together of your mom. As long as you have photos, I think it would be a great opportunity. I know it will be very hard. They'll be in a nice book, instead of in a box or elsewhere. You can always add your flower photography in the book - to show a part of you that your mom would love. Keep me posted if you do this.
