To the Beta Alpha Alumnus:

The shelter underwent a major facelift this summer and the house is looking better than ever. Even with all the new houses that are being built we've been told that we have by far the nicest facility on campus. I'm sure the newer houses are nice, but it's tough to compete with a house that is 43 years old and has as much tradition as ours.

The work was done primarily by the actives in the house over the summer and we really wanted to make it seem like an entirely new house. I know we've done that and we'd like for all of you to come see it for yourself.

Please mark your calendars for October 25th, which is the date for the Homecoming football game. We will be having a breakfast and tours at the house from 8:00am - 10:00am and then we hope you can all join us at the alumni tailgate tent that we will have setup in between the football stadium and assembly hall. Just look for the DTD flag flying high and you will find good food, beer, and many alums.

I look forward to seeing you all there! Go ahead and browse through the three phase pages above to view the photo albums detailing the summer renovation that included new bathrooms, all new flooring throughout the entire house, every light fixture was changed, a landscape overhaul, new furniture, a fresh coat of paint throughout the entire house, new crown molding and base, kitchen remodel, new basketball court and much more!
