Our next play day is Sunday June 10, 2012. The tee off time is 8:30 A.M. with an arrival time of 8:00 A.M. at the gazebo for instruction. Tee off is 8:30 p.m. at the tee box.
The menu for dinner after golf is;

The format is Pinehurst (Alternate Shot): 60 % of lowest handicap and 40% of highest handicap. Maximum individual handicap is 36. Each player tees off. On the second shot, Player A plays Player B's ball and Player B plays Player A's ball from location of lie. Team then selects the best lie for making the third shot. Alternate player for the ball that is selected makes the third shot. From here you play only one ball, alternating between team members until the ball is holed. In the leather putts are allowed.
Record Gross score for each hole on scorecard. Pro shop will score all cards and post results.

2012 league play for couples (one man/one woman) is held on the following eight Sundays; March 11, April 22, May 6, June 10, July 15, August 12, September 9, October 7. Championship play-off is October 21. Shotgun starts are at 1:30 p.m. except June, July & August when starts are 8:30 a.m.
Each playday uses a different format (e.g. Scramble, Best Ball, Pinehurst, etc.), which is announced on the web site. and via email prior to the playday. Couples are flighted according to combined handicap index,
The focus of the league is SOCIAL with a mildly competitive edge; couples compete for monthly flight prizes and accumulate in-flight points for the overall year-end championship playoff in addition to golfing with long-time friends, meeting new couples and participating in the year kickoff party, monthly dinners after play and the end-of -year celebration.
Sign up in the Golf Shop between January 2 and February 17, 2012. Couples who maintain a full golf membership in good standing with BCCC are eligible for membership. First 60 couples to register and pay will play. Substitutes are also invited to register (no charge).
Annual dues: $85 /couple, payable to Berry Creek Couples League at signup. Dues include prizes and expenses for kickoff and year-end parties.
