I would personally recommend every individual, originating from any background, lineage or age to test living in a hostel at least one time in life. Too bold an argument? Well I don't think so. I've been residing in a hostel for the past Three years, and expect to do so for next year too. The reason why I'm being a lot supportive towards this cause is because no matter bad or good, living in a hostel gives a person valuable and priceless experiences which equips him/her to deal better with their lives henceforth. As Mark Twain has correctly stated," You should be careful to get out of an event just the wisdom that is inside it - and stop there; lest we end up like the kitty that sits down on a hot stove-lid. She will never sit down on the hot stove-lid again - and that is well; but also she'll never sit down on the cold one anymore." Good judgment often originates from experience but experience of itself originates from both good and bad times, and a hostel is an ideal starting point with particularly when a person is getting into adulthood.
After describing about the impact of
vandrarhemdormitory living, allow me to discuss certain benefits and drawbacks of residing in a hostel.
Pros-
• Timidity decreases -
Well, residing in a hostel gives a person enough opportunity to interact with people because inside the
vandrarhem complex people are all around. The individuals who are shy and therefore are not able to interact with others properly over a course of time will need to talk to people a minimum of their roommates without a doubt. Added to this celebrating festivals, fests and birthday parties together fosters relation building and provides a person ample chance to emerge from its timidity.

For all those of us who aren't too shy hostel is a perfect spot to meet people from different regions, backgrounds and walks of life. People from different countries get together and live within common roof, enabling in a knowledgeable and interactive session.
• It's Cheap -
Let's face it guys, living in a hostel is incredibly cheap, if you leave apart the ultra modern and AC ones. If we discuss the basic accommodation with all the requirements needed a hostel is a perfect place. The college hostels which all students prefer are comparatively cheaper than living in a rented home or hotel. I too live in a university hostel, that is a real great place to party!
Cons-
• Indulgence in bad things-
People can be tempted in doing stuff which may harm them over time. Cases of cocaine, ganja, smoking cigarettes in addition to alcohol consumption have been seen in hostels.
• Insufficient privacy -
Privacy do gets compromised when living in a hostel. In several hostels individuals have roommates, which reduce privacy even further.
