So I have not been very good updating my journal entries... so let me catch up.....
We moved into our house last week and it is so great... I can't believe that it is ours... it feels like we are watching it for someone else and have to leave soon. Last weekend right after we moved in Joshua baptised me, Mariah and Kendall in our pool.... what a great way to start out! It was great to have the kids home for so long. Anna Belle is so grown up now, she calls me JoJo and Mitch Papaw. Ava just got her first tooth in this morning before Josh and Ashley left in "big brown" to follow the Lords Path.
October came and went..... so here is the latest.... Mitch and I just got back yesterday from St John. We took our mom's down and Pam met us down there for a few days... We went back to the Westin where we got married (gave me chills) then we went to dinner at Zoe Zoes where we ate at our wedding night. We got the chance to dive with Russell a couple of days and spend some quality time with our good friends Barry and Bridget....Everyone had a blast and we are now tan for Thanksgiving! Everyone is going to Mom's for thanksgiving this year... next year it will be at our new house and EVERYONE is invited!
Ava is here and she is the sweetest little girl! Take a look at her pics, she has the most beautiful hair. Josh and Ashley are great parents and we can't wait to spend more time with Ava. By the way my official grandma name is "JoJo", a namesake from one of my favorite people in the whole world!
We miss Justin Brittany and Anna Belle terribly and can't wait to see them LOTS MORE REALLY SOON!!!!
Thank goodness football season is almost over... only two more games. John and gang are coming down for the Kentucky game and Nial and Pam are flying in Friday to celebrate Thanksgiving with us.
With Thanksgiving around the corner I must say I am so thankful for my friends that I have reconnected with and the new friendships that we have made this year, my family whom I love very much... My sisters Kim and Angie, My JoJo and Papa Don, My mom and wonderful mom and law.... my BFF's Nial and Pam & Mike and Jama, Our kids (Brittany and Ashley that includes you too) and now grandkids and most of all my incredible husband Mitch! I love you all!!!!
We had Ashley's shower yesterday. Thanks to the Mom's for their help! Ashely looks so cute and is so ready for Ava to come vistit us!!!!
With a week off from home football (I guess I have to mention that Tennessee sucks this year and we are debating on staying on the boat for the next home game (this weekend)). We hung out Saturday with Mike and Jama on the boat and watched football all day Saturday, what a strange year in College Football....
Very cool thing happened Friday night.... Peyton Manning was at Emma's and Mitch and I met him.... that was WAYYYY COOL..... he was very nice and just hung out for a few hours!!!!
This weekend is wine on the water and our NEW BOAT is in town and we will be on it for the game and wine on water!!!!! It should be in the slip tomorrow afternoon and it is really beautiful! I will post pictures when we get it here!
This past week we actually added walls to the new house.... the framers are kicking butt and progress is moving along fast. They should have it framed and boxed in by Halloween!
Can't believe it is almost October.... Mitch and I want to hike up to Mt Leconte either this week or next, we went 1/2 way last week and had a great time hiking!
Kim, Angie JoJo... I miss you guys so much...... Nial and Pam get your butts over here!!!!! Brittany and Justin we will see you guys soon.... Love you! Ashely, Josh get lots of rest, your gonna need it REALLY SOON!
This weekend was the first home football game.... We played UAB and Tennessee looks horrible! Next week is Florida and I think we will get KILLED!!!! Anyway enough about football.... We had a Vol Navy appreciation event that was sponsored by the University of Tennessee President and his wife.... it was so much fun (I got my picture made with SMOKEY!!!!). We took the boat down Thursday and brought it back today (Sunday) Nial and Pam came in and we were beside Mike and Jama & Joe and Ronda all weekend.... We also spent some time with Bill and Nyda, what a wonderful couple (that's their big boat on the wall!) The game was an early one so many of our buddies (Sherrod's and Blacky's etc...) left early..... hopefully we will see them at the Florida game more! Josh and Ashley came down and visited a couple of nights!! I can't wait to teach little Ava all about the Vols and boating!!!!!
Earlier this week we went down to Chattanooga on the Reel Deal and celebrated mine and Jama's Birthday's!!! It was such a fun trip (except for Jama having a cold and them kicking mine and Mitch's butts in the newelywed game) We hung out at on the riverfront in Chattanooga for a couple of nights, it is so nice down there!
Our new boat gets in the week of the 22nd!!!!! I can't wait.... it has so much more room in it!!! Can't wait to show it to everyone!!! TRUST me, there will be plent of pictures of it on my website!
So it's been three months since I posted, so let's see what has been going on.... we have been working really hard this summer with the Marina.... it's been hot hot hot here...
Ashley has been working at the ship store all summer and I have GOT to get some pictures of her on here soon... she makes a beautiful preggo! Josh has been doing great with Freedom Boat Club and they are even getting some free time to enjoy the beauty of East Tennessee with the grand puppies.... Ava has RSVP'd to our party called life and she will be arriving in October....
We have finally broken ground on our house (see house pix) they have the basement dug and are starting on the foundation tomorrow... the move in date is the end of June next year!!!!! What a ride this is going to be.....
Nial and Pam are doing the work thing but they have been able to come over a few times which has been our relax time!!!!!
Mike and Jama's new boat came last week and wow.... it is a beauty... Mitch has serious boat envy!!!! I think no matter what boat we have we will be happy as long as Jama keeps the wine coming!
Mom is shopping for a new car after a scary wreck she had... it might be a little easier for her if her daughter would stay out of it... lol.....
Brittany created a blogsite that has the most beautiful pix of everyone on it.... We are going to visit them next week so I will be posting some from Florida!
A few weeks ago we had a blast celebrating Joe's 50th on the lake with our boating buddies and now are planning a Labor Day raft up with everyone... Can't wait... JoJo Don Mark and Angie are coming in for that, I miss them so much... the only one's we will be missing are Kim and Merrill (they had some stupid UGA football game against GSU, of course they might have to play since all the Georgia players are suspended!!!)
Mitch and I are just as in love as ever and have even added a third companion to our marriage (the name is Tiger Woods as in xbox360 TW golf)!!!!
I am in the process of adding a page of all my photos that I have collected over the past year that are pretty good pics.... as I grow my photography skills I will add to this section called "alicia's art" don't laugh!!!!

Jenna's graduation was this past weekend....We are very proud of her! Sharon, Mitch and I went up....
The Marina is in full summer mode now.... how bout those gas prices (we are at 4.61 now) Since Mom is living in Knoxville now she is going to help out around the house this summer! Yeah Mom!!!!
The restaurant is finally open now.. it is Emma's at Choto and is GREAT! I think we finally have it right this time. Gregg White is incredible!!!
Ashley and Joshua closed on their house Friday... it is a great new house with lots of rooms for the grandpuppies and baby to be (Ashley has quite the baby bump going on now!)
We can't wait for Brittany, Justin and AnnaBelle to visit next week....AnnaBelle just celebrated her first birthday (going to try to post some pictures on here that Brittany sent....
Mitch and I are leaving for New York City tomorrow with Mike and Jama.... this is the first time I have been to the City since Proffitt's closed... I CANT WAIT!!! We are going to see Wicked, eat at my favorite places and Jama and I are going to spend quality time at SAKS!!!
BFF's Nial and Pam are coming over in a couple of weeks to play... they are working entirely too hard right now!
Also can't wait until Kim and Merrill's wedding in Atlanta in June... miss my sisters!!!!
