The ceiling of one of the barracks in which prisoners were kept. This particular one housed Jews, and in 1992 it was firebombed.

One of many mass graves that were scattered throughout Sachsenhausen. Each one had a number on the side representing the barrack to which the victims belonged.

Visitors placed stones on top of the graves to pay their respects.

Sachsenhausen was liberated by the Red Army. This memorial commemorates the Soviet prisoners at the camp. It was rebuilt three times. According to Stalin, the first two depicted the victims as too emaciated.
