Boot Camp Tip of the Week

Look Great in your Suit!

Whether you’re looking for a quick fix or want to change your body forever, here are expert pointers on how to finally enjoy your bathing suit.

1. Say Goodbye to Bad Foods. If it isn’t good for you then don’t eat it. Stick with lean meats such as chicken, turkey and fish. Stay away from anything fried and have red meat only in moderation.

2. Eat Fresh. Indulge yourself with local produce this summer. Local grown fruits and vegetables are healthy, high in antioxidants and full of vitamins and minerals.

3. Limit Carbohydrates. Dining out? Ask for an extra side of veggies or a side salad with fat-free dressing  instead of a baked potato or rice. Limiting your carb intake is a fast way to slim down. Also eat five to six small meals throughout the day instead of three large meals. This will increase your metabolism and trigger fat loss.

4. Exercise First Thing in the Morning. You burn more calories by exercising first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Drink at least two glasses of water upon waking to ensure proper hydration levels. Exercising first thing in the morning will also give you energy throughout the day and you will feel better knowing you’ve already accomplished your workout.

5. Consider Supplements. In my experience what normally takes six months for a person to achieve can be done in about three months with the right supplement program. For one good option, see supplement short cut below.

6. Go to the Gym. A gym has all the equipment you need to get in shape and can also be very motivating.

7. Stay Hydrated. During the summer you can sweat constantly. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of quality H20. It hydrates quickly and aids in fat loss. Bring a water bottle everywhere you go.
