Show Us Your Shashin!
We want to see your best pictures from Japan--pictures that show Japan as an attractive, inviting, wondrous place! They can be tourism-poster worthy landscapes or quirky photos from off the beaten track, where most of us lived and traveled in Japan.
To post your photos:
Go to the "Add" pulldown (above right).
Sign up for Shutterfly (it's the "price" of this free account. Sorry.)
***PLEASE "Ask to become a member" so that I can easily contact you!!
Using the tabs, make a new album, naming it with your first and last names.
Use the "Share Site" tab--and upload your photos.
NAME your photo with something factual and the location (Farmhouse; Yamada, Iwate) and the year.
LABEL your photo with the resolution--this will be important to know for enlarging & printing. To find the resolution (only you can do this):
GO to "Shutterfly" in the upper left.
GO to "My Shutterfly".
OPEN your album.
OPEN a picture. To the right, you will see photo info and "+ more info".
CLICK on "+ more info" and copy the resolution info.
COPY that info into "Comments" in the Boston Japan Exhibit Share file.
Upload! (You can change yr photo choices until the deadline.)
DEADLINE: Sunday, February 5 at 11:59pm.
Use the link “Ask to become a member” (found above "+ ADD" button) to gain extra features, including ability to email pictures rather than uploading.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SHUTTERFLY ONLY ACCEPTS JPEGS. If you have a different format, email me with info (and suggestions! and we can figure things out.
