We had a blast at the Encino Velodrome on Sunday. RaeLynn and I had never done anything like it. We attended a LOTS class (Ladies on Track Sessions) beginner class. We were both honored to have KK individually mentor each of us. If it wasn't for him I don't think I would have done as well.

The bikes were provided for us for a small rental fee. They are fixed gear bikes with no brakes and we were taught not to pedal backwards or to stop pedaling (coast) at any time or we'd get to eat concrete. But once we got on the track and followed KK's instructions it was a lot of fun and very addicting. Now I am trying to figure out how to fit track cycling into my schedule.
