Hi all: this is a sample website to consider

December 6 saw many Canton members at the Three Mountains Yule Feast celebrating Christmas with  our parent barony. The truly epic Christmas tree was donated by our own Hugh and Muireann from their farm and many of the decorations were made by the children at the event.   Our canton handles creating the childrens gift bags filled with donated toys and candies as well as supplying greenery  (cedar and doug fir) for the tables.

For the last 5 months we have been busy making largesse for the kingdom, for the local Baronies, for Royalty visiting events and for the new barony int he area.  Whew!  Good job Nessies for keeping the level of A&S high in the canton!!

This site is but one way to see what we do in the SCA.  The point of this photo intensive site is to give our group a face and to make it more accessible to those who wonder what a group of Middle Ages and Renaissance enthusiasts do in the rural landscape and small towns of Columbia County, OR.  We are part of a historical education non-profit hobby group (the SCA-the Society of Creative Anachronism) that learns about the Western European cultures and arts by doing hands on research.  This site does not represent the SCA officially in any way.
