We hope your stay with us will be long and your crafting fun.

This groups most important guideline is really very simple. Be Friendly! We want this to be a place to learn, pass on hints and tips and make new friends, a place to simply enjoy. But that can only happen if we remember that we're not all the same. In fact, that's what makes something like this so much fun, each of us being different.

So just take a moment to think about how you will word your replies, because we don't have the benefit of body language or voice inflection to help convey our meaning.

The following guidelines have been devised to allow us all to enjoy our crafting in an atmosphere of peace and harmony. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with them.

Etiquette:

Good manners and simple courtesy should be the essence of all communications in this group. Discussion is encouraged, but if you are looking for an argument, then step outside. Management has the right to delete any thread they feel is counterproductive.

This is a family-friendly site; therefore adult material, whether in photo, discussion, links, language, or profanity will not be tolerated. If any member notices this kind of content, please advise a manager so it can be promptly deleted.

If you have a problem with another member then please let us know and we'll do our best to sort it amicably.

No selling or advertising of your own products.

If you have a website, or would like to recommend a website please ask before posting a link.

This is an open forum so anyone can read the messages so for you own safely please do not include any personal information in your messages.

Please do not ask for other members addresses or email addresses.

And for the benefit of all, we ask that political and religious views be excluded from debate.

Craft Photo Submissions:

We would love to see the lovely creations you make using our designs The Community Albums are for all to add to but please keep to the themes as suggested by the tiles.
If you would like a personal Gallery please ask and one will be set up for you by one of the site administrators. Each member can have a gallery with up to 3 albums and a maximum of 12 photos per album After that, you will have to recycle if you want to add more.
Once you've added your crafty pictures to the album right click on each, choose 'edit picture info ...' and add your name as the title and the CD you've made it from as the description
Picture size should be no more than 650 pixels on longest side, and no larger than 150 KB file size. (This applies to Albums, Message Boards,. Attachments in Message Board may be larger, but please indicate large file and/or special software needed to open the attachment)
-- If including more than one photo in the message board, please be sure to place a carriage return <ENTER> between pictures so that they do not appear side by side and require side-scrolling.

CAUTION: (UNLESS ADDING TO THE COMMUNITY ALBUMS) BE SURE YOU ADD YOUR CRAFTY PICS TO YOUR OWN ALBUMS

Fonts:

For ease of reading, we ask you to please refrain from using fancy or script fonts; typing your entire message in all caps as that is considered shouting; and using font colors that do not sufficiently contrast with the black background.

Caution if posting/replying via Email Client: Please change your font color to standard green as otherwise, it will post to the board as black fonts on black background and cannot be read without highlighting to make the message visible. Also, it is a color that will be readable on a white background when email notifications are sent out.
