Casey is now walking. Not very stable, but she is. It's such a big milestone whenever she does it, it makes everyone smile.
Her sleep-span is also a lot longer now. She sleeps for 11 to 12 hours at night and one nap in the afternoon! It's GRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT! :D
Casey has started to walk. Few steps at a time, but she loves her walkers. She'd just keep pushing. She's so serious when she walks too.

On top of the walking, she's also fallen in love with SITTING. Sitting in her own rocking chair that is. The chair can be seen in the 20081113 album. It comes with a matching foot stool and a regular chair. She sits like a Queen in it every day and night.
Peanuts M&Ms are NO NO's! Casey somehow managed to find one (or at least that's what I think it was) and ate it!!! Without chewing of course! It couldn't go down her throat (whew, at least it went down the right path), so she threw up (some formula). Then threw up some bits again before the "what looked like a chocolate" came flying out from her mouth!!! YIKES!
Casey has been teething. This time, with her molars. The right one came out without any problem. The left one is trying to "surface" and she's developed a fever over the weekend. Poor thing got all the symtoms of teething except she wasn't cranky or whiny. She's blabbing as well. Check out her latest video here. You can see her playing basketball with our laundry as well. :p

Two more weeks! Casey is doing her quick course of Walking 101 intensively. She can stand now, but still wouldn't take her baby steps on her own. Although she now would walk with her hands and arms held up unlike before.
And just weeks before her big trip, the poor thing lost her balance and hit her face to the side rail on her changing table. She got a small bruise on her left cheek. Luckily it seems to be fading away fast. :S
Casey attended another baby 100 days old party! She's a bit sister now. Her twins friends were wandering around on feet...when is it going to be her turn?
And...Casey was REALLY afraid of Uncle Will!!! :O
Casey has gotten her passport and is ready to travel. Anyone wanna offer her a free trip? ;)
The significant benefit of turning one is that Casey can now sit in a car seat facing forward. Other than that, no big milestone has been reached. She still cannot walk, but she loves to climb! And she surely crawls FAST. She likes to climb though. Trying to climb onto sofas, then onto the window sill. Sometimes she'd stand without holding onto anything. It seems like a plain old innocent action, but it surely scares the hick out of us.
She likes to point at things. She loves to tell you where the ceiling fan is. She can say Ma Ma, Ba Ba. What's funny is that she also loves to say Eee Yah, Ai Yah! Too funny
