Club of Brazil's goal is to outreach to Brazilians who are unfamiliar with the American post-secondary eduation system and provide them the knowledge and resources for them to succeed, regardless of immigration status.

Club of Brazil is a student association supporting all ethnic backgrounds in achieving their academic goals.  We provide Q&A forums, academic guidance and a range of resources to facilitate your college experience at CCSF! Enrich your cultural experience at social events, potlucks, dance classes, Brazilian-Portuguese language classes and more.

What is Capoeira?

Developed by African slaves in Brazil as a means to defy their Portuguese slave masters, capoeira is a game, a fight, and a dance in one.  It is a deadly fight that incorporates dance, and it is a beautiful dance that incorporates fight.  Capoeira is a dynamic art filed with self expression and a demonstration of the potential of the human body and spirit.
