Dear CCSF Students:
April marks an exciting time of year for CCSF students. During this time, you, the students of CCSF, elect student representatives to advocate for your needs and concerns to the faculty, staff, administration, and board of trustees at City College of San Francisco. At this time, we are accepting applications for both Associated Student Councils: Downtown, Evans, Mission, Ocean, and Southeast and Student Trustee. I want to strongly encourage you all to consider running for one these very important and exciting leadership positions.
Please read carefully, the instructions for students interested in running for Associated Student Council differ from the instructions for students running for Student Trustee.
Associated Student Council Information: Downtown, Evans, Mission, Ocean, and Southeast: Students running for office at these campuses are representing the needs of students on those specific campuses. Each campus has it’s own set of bylaws that offers further insight on the positions. Complete applications should be submitted to the Dean’s Office on your campus. You will be notified of your eligibility to run for office by Monday, April 9th. The application due date is April 6th by 12:00PM. Student Trustee Information: Students running for Student Trustee serve as a representative of all students of City College of San Francisco, including the 9 Associated Student Councils of City College of San Francisco. Each year, only one student is elected to serve as Student Trustee. The application due date is Wednesday, April 4th by 4:00PM at the Ocean Campus, Student Union Room 205. You can find the application to run for student trustee at the following website: http://www.ccsf.edu/aselections
