The Sheriff's Office provides comprehensive investigative services to the community through the criminal investigations division (CID) . In order to provide specialization and proficiency in service, the division is comprised of various units. Reports of all incidents are forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division and are reviewed daily. After this review is completed, the supervisors assign to the appropriate unit those incidents based on investigation criteria for further investigation,
