Cumberland Co. Sheriff's Department - K9

K-9 Unit

Cumberland County Sheriffs Department K9 Unit is compiled of four active canine teams.

 

Our department has two drug enforcement offices with their canine partners.

 

Deputy Kevin Phillips and his partner Zorro, and Deputy Danny Stone and his partner Bosco keep the streets and neighborhoods of Cumberland drug free.  Specializing in Meth, Marijuana, Cocaine and .............  these deputies keep the bad guys and their wears off the streets.

 

The other two teams are specialized in search and rescue.  These teams are made up of Deputy Anthony Laushbugh and his partner Ruby and Deputy David Bowman and his partner Tucker.

 

These teams goals are the safety of the innocent victims such as children and the elderly that find themselves lost or reported missing here in Cumberland County.   Along with their focus on safety these teams are also trained to be man trailers as well.  So if you decided to run in Cumberland county be sure to listen for these guys because they will be right behind you.
