An open plea: "It's all about being human and playing your part"
"It's all about giving. It's all about trust. It's all about people. It's all about us. It's all about being human and having a heart. It's all about being human and playing a part...
It's all about life.
We're talking life power, the power of humanity." -PNRC OST
For those of you who are not familiar about the news, Tropical Storm Ketsana triggered the worst flooding in decades in the capital of my country: Manila and nearby provinces. This is by far the worst flooding disaster recorded since 1967. A massive rescue operation is under way in the Philippines where at least 106 people are confirmed to have been killed in the wake of torrential rains.
WHO is requesting US$ 914 176 to ensure the continued provision of health services to the internally displaced people living inside and outside temporary settlements in the conflict-affected regions.
I am hereby reaching out to all kind-hearted beings out there: Let's extend any help we can and participate to the relief mission currently being done in the Philippines. Various Philippine NGOs (one of them is the *Philippine National Red Cross Rizal Chapter) are waiting for volunteers and donations from all over the world. We don't have to be there physically in order to help. Any donation no matter how big or small would surely make a difference. Or whatever religious sector/non-sector you're under, please do include them in your thoughts, prayers and/or meditation. Our Supreme Deity might hear our plea if our heart speaks loud enough.
This is the best time to unite and move forward together as one country with one unique mission: REACH OUT AND SAVE LIVES.
Feel free to pass this note around.
With high hopes that my plea won't fall on deaf ears,
Lea Dimalanta
Seattle, WA
To all the calamity victims especially my friends and family affected by the disaster, just hang in there and keep the faith. You're not alone in this ordeal. Aid will come sooner than you expected. Know that my heart cries for you all.

I'M BROKEN
I feel like I'm being left out
I feel like I'm getting let down
I feel like everybody's playing me
Pulling me, jerking me around
So just leave me
Sitting quietly in the dark
And just leave me
Agonizingly shattering apart
Because I'm breakable
Even my tears fall sometimes
I'm breakable
The cracks show through, the tiny lines
I'm breakable
Catch me before I fall
I'm breakable
My screams echo in the hall
So breakable
Try to catch me in one piece
I'm breakable
These troubled fears will not cease
So save me
Before the lights go out
And save me
From all the things they write about
Save me
From my demons in the night
Save me
Tell me everything is all right.
*The earth is crying with me. I let the rain bury my tears and pains. It hid them well.

A romantic excerpt from Ayashi no Ceres
Touya: (after suddenly hugging Aya from behind) Let's just be like this for a while...If you don't like this, just push me aside...It's your freedom.
Aya: (Aya about to grab Touya's arms, thinking) How can I?...there's no way...I can't do that you know? How can these hands...ever push you away? This person might become my enemy, this is a person that I am not supposed to get close to right? But...now...I'm loving every moment of it.
Existence
Existence-
Such a small word, yet so significant
A word that balances on the edge of life a death
A question that has only one answer, on end
The feeling inside me, clawing, begging
Thirsty for hope
A feeling I could never dream of escaping
It can't be done by justice
A calling of nostalgia
The meaning of life is fading fast
Slipping through my fingers, a race against time
In pain, I grasp and try to clutch it
But my attempts are pointless
Lost in a sea of pain, alone
Smothered by a gloomy blanket
I lie wounded, waiting
A mask of unheard dispair seeps apon my features and grabs my life
A bleeding heart, ripped apart
Left ina cold grave,
Filled with longing for freedom and companionship
A wound never to heal
I'm sulking. Save me world.

Wednesday @ 9:46 am. The phones are not that busy which makes it so difficult for me to cope up during this unusual situation. I remember just yesterday my brain could not keep up with the phones and watching Fushigi OVA but now... everything's going so ssssllllloooowwwww. It's so slow that I would happily prefer counting the ticking of the clock or counting sheeps before i sleep instead. Pathetic!

I just read JP's email about OMEGLE, which made my curiosity run up my spine. Below is JPs e-mail:
First of all, this is not a virus site. Do not be paranoid.
OMEGLE.COM is a global chat room website. you do not have to make an account. just go there, click "start a conversation" and you'll be randomly assigned to a fellow omegle logger. i already talked (any topic under the sun) to so many people from finland, norway, russia, poland, india, brazil, korea, china, usa, canada, estonia, bosnia, and germany. when you want to discontinue a chat convo, just click "disconnect" and you may start a new convo again by clicking "start new conversation". be reminded that you may bump in to assholes in the site, but you can encounter sensible and smart people too. depende kung paano mo dadalhin yung conversation. basta dapat interesting ka magtanong at sumagot. you can lie too if you want, pretend you're someone else. but you can be truthful too. it's your call. it's a free site. enjoy, or not--it's up to you.
i am just a messenger.
Hmmm... talk to strangers? I have to try this one out. OMEGLE here I come!

Mom's Package
Just dropped by the Doubletree Hotel to pick up my stuff from Philippines thru Nina. Thank goodness there are still people like her who's taking the extra mile in helping people out. :-)
What's in the package?
2 dresses, a skirt, their silver wedding souveneir and a few knick knacks. Thanks Mom!
Waking up to a good day
I slept like a baby last night. I primarily blame it to the exhaustion from watching Fushigi but what comes after that is....hmmm...the inspiration? Hihi. I woke up to a good day, even tardiness cannot ruin my day. Love it.
Fushigi Yuugi Another
I was so exhausted as I watched Fushigi over again. My eyes were half-closed the whole time, not as enthusiastic as I am when it comes to marathons like this so I could say that it's a little different from what I'm used to. Granted I just completed the whole series last Sunday but nothing stopped me from reliving its memories over again. Hotohori's sex appeal, Tamahome's passion, Nuriko's gaiety, Chichiri's wisdom, Tasuki's silliness, Chiciri's cuteness, Mitsukake's gentleness and Miaka's "gullible-ness"- what a perfect blend! How I wish I'm a character in the Universe of the Four Gods. It would be an awesome experience for sure! Woohoo! Oopppsss, sorry I got carried away. Hihi. :P
