Sponsorship opportunities are available in order to provide a God centered summer adventure for young people.
The Uphill Youth Ministry

The Uphill Youth Ministry is focused on teaching young people about the Lord and His design for their lives; to instill a servant heart into each participant and to provide them with useful hospitality skills for a selfless life style.
As with all ministries, where the Lord guides, He provides. The Uphill Youth program has a cost of $150 per week. Pastor Care program
As summer melts into fall, and the leaves change into their brilliants hues, and the evenings bring a chill of winter, our sponsorship opportunities will shift. During the fall season we have more opportunities to minister to Pastors and missionary families who need some quiet time to renew their spirits. Pastors come here on Sabbatical weary and in need for time to regroup. Missionaries on Furlough also love taking advantage of our safe haven to come and reconnect with their families. If you have any heart to give to Pastors and Missionaries in need of quality alone time with the Lord, please contact us by phone or email! God bless you today!
Sponsorship Opportunities
Listed below, by initial only, are youth who are in need of your generosity. They have been involved with their fund raising responsibilities however, a need still remains.
Z: Z recently volunteered to stay out here for a week to help in the kitchen. Z will a be a huge help next week since we have a mission group checking in and Stu needs a break from the kitchen. His Mom decided last year to stay at home and home school Z, however Z's Dad recently lost his job so their funds are tight. He loves helping in the kitchen and will be a tremendous blessing for Cherokee Cove, (need: $150)
W: W has come to serve with us for the last half of the summer. W is in a leadership position and serving in some ways as the counselor for the current UpHill Youth boys out here now and the boys who will be coming in the next few weeks. W came out here about two weeks ago and felt the Lord leading him to quit his job and help out Cherokee Cove the remainder of his summer vacation. W's service is an answer to prayer and W will be able to help out a lot. (need: $450)
T: T needs the opportunity to serve at Cherokee Cove this Summer. Her family is in transition and they believe this would be a great opportunity for her to deepen her relationship with the Lord while serving others. So far, one family has agreed to sponsor T for a week. T has the heart to be an UpHill youth for four weeks. T will be greatly strengthened in her relationship with God and will be able to return home stronger and rested. (need: $320)
