The Clarke County Orange Crush lost its first game in 20 ODSL contest Sunday afternoon 2-1 to LOUD 96G White in Loudoun County.
The Crush found itself down 2-0 at halftime, but despite only having 13 players and missing their regular goalie, they battled back and controlled the second half only to come up on the short end.
It was a great game that showed a lot of heart and character of our players!
September 26
In a heated and highly contested match, the Orange Crush continued its unbeaten run in the past three seasons with a 3-2 win over FCSC Blackwatch O.
Clarke County jumped out to a 2-0 lead only to see it erased and tied at the half way mark 2-2. In the second half, the Crush had several scoring opportunities and finally capitalized in the waning minutes to secure their unbeaten and untied streak of 19 in a row in ODSL competition.

August 28, 2010
Clarke County Orange Crush opened its season today with an 8-0 win and a 1-0 win in the Dulles National Soccer Tournament.
In the 7:30 am contest, Clarke led 2-0 at halftime before exploding for 6 goals in the second half against the Culpeper Comets. There were many great plays in this contest but none prettier than Tori's header off of the corner kick!
In the 4:15 contest, Clarke maintained possesion of the ball for about 80% of the game. However, they were not able to get on the scoreboard until about three minutes left when they scored on a penalty kick. Clarke defeated ASC Radical (4-2-2 record in D5 Wags last spring season) 1-0.
Scores and standing can be found at Dulles National Tournament.
For the second consecutive season, the Clarke County Orange Crush team went undefeated with back-to-back 8-0 seasons as they improved to 16-0 overall for the 2009-2010 fall and spring seasons.
During their impressive streak, the Crush have outscored their opponents by 96 goals. During the fall season, the Crush tallied a 49-7 goal differentiation and just recently completed their spring season with a 57-3 mark for a total of 106-10.
For the third straight tournament, the Orange Crush found themselves competing for the Championship after winning their pool.
However, unlike the Dulles National Tournament, Clarke County was unable to get the victory Sunday afternoon as they lost to the ASC Radical (VA) by a score of 2-1.
Clarke jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the first half, which was the same score they beat the Radical by in the DNT in August. But, the Radical put together a solid 10 minutes to score both their goals and led 2-1 at halftime.
The second half was highly contested but Clarke was unable to get the equalizing goal.
In pool play, Clarke won all three of their contest by a total score of 13-0.
Once again, it was a great team effort by our girls!
